The time has come...
To prioritise the testing and surveying of the Bob and Shirley month one main meals
To that end I would be very grateful if potty can support us technically by making sure we have a survey for each, and if someone good with detail would check my recipes and encourage me gently to pad out the method where one is sadly lacking!
AFAIK, these will be the main meals for the 31 day month, the number at the beginning is how many times it will be served:
1 Roast chicken
1 chicken and onion pie
2 onion tart
2 spanish omelette
3 veggie burgers/rissoles
3 bean curry
3 HM pizza
3 risi e bisi
3 sweetcorn fritters
2 cottage pie
1 chilli
3 pasta alfredo
2 bacon and onion 'suet' pudding
2 tomatoey pasta

Sorry is it me misunderstanding again or was the readybrek for the vegan plan ? I also thought none of the ingredients could be altered now.
Please can we have some links to the current plans, menus and lists. I really am so very lost.
since asda discontinued plus pints we do now need ready brek (instant hot oat cereal) in the first 2 planners.
Erm, re altering ingredients, it's tough for me to do, but I try to if there's a health need (like suddenly losing all that calcium from the plus pints)
plans menus and lists, I try not to publish every stage because at the testing phase they shift so much I think it would really confuse people and clutter up the thread, but if there's a specific list you'd like me to post malteasers I'm happy to if I can.
Everyone needs to remember, if I do post a list though, that this is not the end result but we are doing well with our work in progress
Just in case anyone runs with it before finished!

I've just served up the spanish omlette It seems to have been a success.
I used:
2 onions
80g peas
80g sweetcorn
3 cloves of garlic
mixed herbs
4 eggs
60g cheese
Served with 250g potatoes and 80g carrot sticks each. Everyone likes it, even the non-omlette eating onesSo a success there and the portion size is good too.
I also baked the eggless apple cake and that's gone well too. Is squishy but that could just be cause we ate it while still quite warm, but really nice flavour and texture. Everyone who has tried it liked it.
I made it in a round dish, though, so about 16 slices. If I'd done it in my normal rectangular one I probably could have got 20.
I'll be making the ready brek cookies tomorrow.0 -

oh frankie thanks that's great news
after some recipe dabacles today it's good you've got good news there, yay:T:T:T:T
DH suggested calling it a slice or a strudel or something because cake texture is hard to replicate without egg, do you think that would work?
