I actually do think that getting info from school principle is certainly worth a try for anyone that can manage to get any info out of them and would certainly encourage people to give it a shot! I have told you before that the principle of BRA advised me that my son's score of 102 will be fine so quite frankly I don't see why you are worried about your daughters score of 112 not being good enough

I expect the principles of the schools are rather fed up with being contacted regarding this when there is no real information they can give. With that in mind i will wait until 28th May.

Well contacting the school principle certainly paid off for ex spendaholic so clearly the principles can and do give out information but anyway no one is saying you should be contacting BRA's principle. If waiting until May 29th is what you want to do then you are quite entitled to do that just as those of us who wish to try and find out more are also entitled to do so. Each to his own!

Although, as you said, AQE do not provide official grades with our scores we can give a rough guide to try and help parents (and children) understand their result better. The top band would have been all As, the second mostly As with the beginning of the B1s, the middle band would have been the remainder of the B1s and the high B2s, the fourth band then would include the rest of the B2s and start of the C’s.

Hi everyone,
I have just logged on to AQE website today to check if theres anything new. To my surprise there seems to be copies of the papers the kids sat. Unfortunately when I try to open them, im only getting the front cover!! Have I been asleep for the past month, why didnt I see this before. Has anyone else been able to open them and Im just being stupid? Ok im starting to rant now lol
Maybe Im better not seeing them it will just give me something else to panic about!!!!!!!!!!!

All you can access is the front cover of the tests from last year. Other sample papers are on their website but to date AQE haven't released the full papers. Hoping for a press release soon.

At the moment you can only see the front cover of each of the papers. AQE were hoping to have had the papers on their website before now, but there is copyright on the english passages and proses which is why public issue has been delayed.

Got excited there when I noticed new posts.

I don't hold out any real hope of AQE ever updating their website. They gave me the same old guff last week about fifth of kids fitting into each quintile. To my mind considering the quintiles were already set this simply wasn't possible.

Roll on end of May when hopefully will all get their school of choice and we can move on from this shambles.

I have been following this thread for some weeks and feel I need to comment. I contacted AQE yesterday and they will not be providing any statistical information this week. They are 1/3 the way through checking ... whatever they need to check at this stage? ... papers. It might be a while before they publish results/statistical info. By that stage, all the school places will be allocated and what action can anyone take?

They are unable to publish papers due to copyright.

All I would like to see is the breakdown of marks etc - i find it difficult to believe that this information is not available as they would have had all the marks/quintiles etc. to give out results on 6th Feb. This should be a relatively simple task.
