I voted for free range eggs as we use a lot each week and I refuse to buy battery eggs.
I would also have chosen the meat option, but if we were in dire straits, we could miss out on the meat as we don't eat a lot of it anyway. (I say we, but I don't eat it. It's sons and hubby who do.)0 -
Fresh fruit and veg would be the last things to go here.0

we are another house for free range eggs, most of us our already veggie and we mainly eat seasonal so thats cheap enough.
eggs are free ranged im lucky to be able to buy mine local most the time, due to the time of year i have been buying extra from the supermarket but per half dozen free ranged are not that more expensive then caged/barn hen eggs0 -
Weezlie I put sweet treats because truthfully when in dire straits (the situation not the band
) I know I could bake my own which I don't do very regulary right now.
Although I like to use FR eggs, RSPCA "freedom foods" meat and branded things but that would go out of the window to save money, much as I like the little fluffies to be happy and my meat tender, a roof over my babies heads is more important!
I could always visit family (and their fruit bowls) to ensure Chris gets his fruit fix at least twice a week xx0 -
Weezl, I have voted for high quality/free range meat as even though I'm veggie, its important to the rest of my family.
I also wanted to vote for free range eggs as I would never buy any other kind!
I also buy organic as much as possible and some branded items as we can tell the difference.

I enjoy fruit and veg and if I'm away and don't have much for a while I crave it - I also would say that I would rather have less of good quality meat / free range eggs than rubbish.0

TBH there are a few things that I really don't like to compromise on, but I choose the good quality meat one (with free range eggs a close second!).
We are all different and I suspect some of us may even change our minds from month to month (or on a different frequency!).

I voted for fruit, after the fuss I kicked up yesterday (lol), but TBH free-range eggs are also very important. We've been buying barn lately as the budget is very pinched, but I feel guilty every time I take them off the shelf. Right now ASDA are doing their magnificent 15 FR eggs for £2, but I wish they did that all the time!top 2013 wins: iPad, £50 dental care, £50 sportswear, £50 Nectar GC, £300 B&Q GC; jewellery, Bumbo, 12xPringles, 2xDiesel EDT, £25 Morrisons, £50 Loch Fyne

I voted for free range eggs, but I don't generally buy eggs unless I'm baking for a special occasion. So actually, the products I can't compromise on are my toiletries and washing stuff (I use an Aquaball instead of laundry detergent), as I have very sensitive skin and there are only certain things I can use. I do stock up when they're on special, though!GC: December: £145?/£120; January: £125.70/£120; February: £163.22/£120; March £113.94/£120; April £DOOM; May £Gave up; June £DOOM; July £160.78/£108; August £7.65/£200
