29p at The Meadows, now suffering withdrawal symptoms - I refuse to buy something that has gone up by 3.2 times the previous price!

The annoying thing is that there is none of the cheap ones in Sainsbury Farnborough or Camberley, not that I could find anyway. Will have to get my OH to pop into the store at Watchmoor Park when he gets his petrol!!

I did exactly the same when I went shopping on Friday!! I've been buying it for ages at 9p, so when I saw the SEL I thought it must be wrong... went to the price scanning machine and lo & behold, £1.29!!!:eek:
One pound twenty nine pence for VALUE biscuits!!!!!!! Outrageous!
Needless to say we are currently munching Value custard creams instead now!

Excellent customer service, not like pooey tesco and 12p there. They are delicious! bought 4 packs on wed and only one left.... Oh well...

Still 9p in Mr T's Loughborough Wednesday. Unfortunately though, Loughborough's Sainsburys never seem to stock their value shortbread so have never tried that.

I queried the increase with a member of staff who told me to put them back on the shelf as the increase in price was criminal. They're down to 29p this week. I loathe Tesco, but no other large supermarket within walking distance.
