  • Asda do some tricky stuff with their roll backs.

    i get a pizza every weekend for £1 and have since August, ever other week its marked as a 'roll back' from £1.39 to £1 but its NEVER been that price to start with.

    It was the same with the eggs, they were marked as 'roll back' but still much more expensive than the week before. i don't know how they can claim to 'roll back 3000 prices each week' they must just roll them up for a while when the store is closed! lol
    It only takes a second to say 'Thanks, you just saved me a few quid!'

    Shortbread is easy to make and far nicer than shop-bought packs...you ought to try to make it and see
  • yes I noticed the price had gone up today so I left it there and bought another brand.It was pattersons I think 39p for 150g pack, so more expensive but a lot cheaper than £1.29!!! It's nice too,already scoffed some :)

    I imagine a lot of people won't even notice...
    Probably won't be long until sainsbury's follow suit - as soon as one puts the price up, the others soon follow.

  • I went to buy the value shortbread today and noticed the price rise to £1.29 and thought it was a wrong shelf edge label and checked it at the self scan and promptly put it back! that's a 1433% increase!!!!!!!
