Failing to remove a tag does not instantly class someone as incompetent. It is simply a mistake, or shall I assume that you are perfect and never make a mistake!
Do you realise how hidden some of these tags are etc. To be honest with your kind of attitude I'm not suprised the manager gave you a dirty look. Good on him/her.
The sooner people start understanding each other and respecting each other the better.
I espect I will get banned for this comment, but felt I needed to voice this opinion, whether people agree with it or not. It is after all simply my opinion.
oooooooooohhhh get you drama queen!!!!!!0 -
Worked in Burtons last Xmas and it is the policy of the Arcadia group - if the tag is left on they will pay petrol and parking - no quibble.
Best of luck with Sainsburys...0 -
Similar thing happend to me in Next the other day. I was walking out of the shop and the alarm went off. The store manager happend to be standing by the door. She took my bag from me, took it to the till and asked the girl to check it. There were about five or six items in the bag. She instantly found it in one the pockets of my son's jeans. They might not be perfect but they are idiots.:cool2: if a fly falls in your drink. pick it out, lick it then chuck it. every little helps :beer:0

What on earth are you talking about. If I honestly buy a product, I DO NOT expect it to set off any alarms. It happened to me at Virgin store, I bought a DVD, yes it set off the alarm, they are very quick to accuse and search your bags, when it was proven I HAD paid for it but the moron had not cancelled the TAG at the till, I let rip. I demanded to see the manager, and made a big rumpus, so much so that he gave me some money back to get rid of me. Yes great they have security measures, but I am blowed if I am going to be embarressed when I have paid for the item, I embarressed them instead.
If it happens at anyother store I will do the same. It is the shops fault for not training their staff properly, NOT the customers fault.
DWhat goes around - comes around
give lots and you will always recieve lots0 -
I have had a few items that have still had tags on them - just goes to show that the security system doesn't work ll that well.
I never went back to get any of them removed....just got OH to take them off.
There has been a couple of times at ASDA that an alarm has went off as I was leaving (due to those sticky label tags some things have)...and the security guard just waved me on...:rotfl:Cross Stitch Cafe member No. 32012 170-194 2013 195-207.Hello Kitty ballerina 208.AVA 209.OLIVIA 210.ELLA 211.CARLA 212.LOUISE 213.CHARLEY 214.Mother & Child 215.Stop Faffing Completed 2014 216.Stitchers Sampler. 217.Let Them Be Small 218.Keep Calm 219. It happened to me with a child's dress I bought in Boots. I travelled the 40 mile round trip to get it taken off but although they were very nice, didn't offer anything for the inconvenience and I didn't think to ask! My own fault I guess0

Why don't you just cut them off, the missus has had it happen a couple of times and it only takes a few minutes with a junior hacksaw, even less with a Dremel.0

I've had alarms go off when I've bought clothing, the Matalan store where I used to live was notorious for not removing tags off everything (I used to wonder if they did it on purpose so they could check that the customer had paid for everything). On jeans, the nogo tag often seemed to be hidden in a pocket.0
