    Hi HWG

    Glad you enjoyed the wedding. Hope you manage to ward the cold off.

    You are getting so close with Lloyds now, anytime soon you will be ringing them to close your account x

    Evening all, DH has kindly passed on his man flu to me
    MM cheque has arrived today so I am off to the bank with that tomorrow. I have also bagged my £2 coins and pinched some of DH change he keeps leaving laying around and I have £45 to send to Lloyds.
    I am a bit worried I have overstetched us this month but I have had a lot on and DS birthday so I am going to try and keep within budget next month and if it doesnt work I will have to adjust the overpayment slightly. I am slightly horrified by the amount of interest we are still paying so I am desperate to get this down asap, to do this I need to clear Lloyds and hopefully get a BT even if it is only for 6 months.
    Next month our mortgage reduces so will free up another £400 for debt payments.

    Extra £400 already in the plan.
    Just found a cardigan that I bought for the wedding which i didnt wear so going to return it tomorrow £16,i,m going to add it to my shopping budget as so far it is very small for the next 2 weeks about £60 cutting everything back to the bone for a few weeks just to get back on track and reduce the overdraft a bit more.

    No but have been there and done that many years ago, how bad is it that i have just been looking what day i get paid next month and havent even got past this one yet.
    I have had to reduce my overpayment by £200 this month as not sure we can get by on so little and anything that is left at the end of the month can go to debt or DS school trip still have £320 to find for this.

  • WOW - brilliant news re Lloyds!

    Wouldnt worry about the reduction in overpayment, you will find it!
    LBM Feb 2010 £62,700 Total Debt Jan 11 [STRIKE]£49,403.84[/STRIKE] £47,530.32.
    (CC/LOAN = [STRIKE]36,378.98[/STRIKE] 35668.47. O/D = [STRIKE]1255.32[/STRIKE] 1212.35/[STRIKE]1999.78[/STRIKE] 1934.52, BUS = [STRIKE]9769.76[/STRIKE] 8714.98)
    Challenge = Debt at 31/01/12 = £25k. 2011 Payments = £1,944.19/£24,403.84

    There is no point in negative thought, it takes up time and energy which could be used in a positive, happy way!
  • Think you're doing fab to make any overpayments. You've just reminded me I have to make final installment on my kids school trip next week....
    Proud to be dealing with my debts,
