Food was very good even better DH paid, and film was good except for a poorly behaved little girl and even worse mother sitting behind us.
MSE news forgot I had a letter from mortgage company telling us our old rate comes to an end at the end of the month 4.79% and we will be on .75 above base form September, this will mean quite a drop in repayments but my thinking is just keep overpaying its all debt.
May have a look to see if its better to use the extra against debt to get rid of the high interest cards then kill the mortage off thats a nice job for tomorrow.MARCH 2016 DEBT £25750/ £25035

I have spent the last hour playing with spreasheets and to my surprise if I use the extra money I was going to put to overpaying my mortgage to my debt there is a chance I can clear the cards by dec 2012. Then increase the mortgage when debt it gone and I think I can knock another 6 months of my mortgage. This would give me a mortgage free date of June 2015.
The question now is can I keep this up for 5 more years  I have tried to explain this to DH and he is not convinced thinks we should overpay the mortgage while on low interest, so a little bit of work to be done there. Anyhow I move the money around hopefully he will be pleased when he sees the results.
Hope everyone is well the sun is shining so I think I will go for a walk in the country have a great day all.MARCH 2016 DEBT £25750/ £25035

What a lovely choice to have...I'd use it to pay the higher interest debt off first and then throw every penny at the mortgage.0

That kind of news doesn't come along often about the mortgage, go for it and i bet you'll be more focused as you'll be paying the same money monthly but the bottom line debt will be reducing pretty quick!!!!April 2020 - £102,222 Loans/CC’s.
Jan 2022 - £0
Cleared - £102,222
Jan 2022 - Now time to build suitable investments and a business!0
