oh no,i have been summarily dismissed
officially its due to my sick record(supported by medical records with an eye problem that just requires time to heal)
unofficially a great way to clear out a full timer as the new budget is being planned
i 'just' tripped a stage 2 and then stage 3
That's terrible:(. Hope you are going to appeal.0 -

i am but given the appeals are done by an RM manager its unlikely to bear any fruit
i knew as soon as the stage 3 proceedings started i was out.
it was a case of going through the motions and TBH the management are dicking me around in true RM style0 -

Good luck anyway.
Will you still be able to go to an independant employment tribunal if the appeal fails?0 -
Can RM find you something else custardy? If ATOS are involved, they should be able to negotiate with RM for you.
My husband went through all the stages following being sick from work after he injured his knee on duty. Knee damage turned out to be permanent, so he's never allowed back on deliveries.
He went tried a couple of different admin type jobs, before settling on a job planning walks which he loves (but you probably hate him now!)Here I go again on my own....0 -
i could but in real terms i have triggered the stages as per the contract
Expect you have already got advise from CWU and people on this site.
If you have had the problem with your eye long enough it could be classed as a disability, then they should be making reasonable adjustments, looking at other jobs they could offer you as someone stated or if it just needs time to heal simply giving you that time.
If they are getting you out on health grounds (saying you are not able to work because of your health) is there any possibility of getting your pension & compensation.
Having said that you may feel you just want to move on and no one could blame you for that either.0 -
unfortunately i have an eye injury which means different duties are not applicable, nor is DDA
my eye is healed just now as its a corneal errosion from a sparring injury about 18 months ago
RM know its a temporary issue and this is confirmed by ATOS and my medical records
the fact is its nothing to do with my medical record
since my OH took a new job after redundacy i cant work overtime
combine this with a duty that is far too long to complete in my contracted hours then i become 'awkward' according to my managers
so this is an easy out for them0 -

Dispatches (Chanel 4) has another programe on Mon 8th Feb about Royal Mail failures.
Might be worth watching as it might cover whats going wrong there.0 -
Well, almost 2 weeks now & still not got my parcel.
Actually managed to get hold of some one at local office but they said there is no parcel there for me
Where has it gone? It states on the card & website they keep it for 3 weeks (1 week if recorded), or is that also subject to goodwill like arranging a redelivery.:(
Having just watched Dispatches I now wonder if I will ever see my parcel? Find out what it is? or who sent it? and will I ever get a reply to my email?:think:0
