Free Album download on Tunechecker?

Has anyone realised that the Tunechecker Website has been developed by MSE???
This website is operated by Tunechecker.com Limited, a company wholly owned by Martin Lewis. Tunechecker.com Limited is registered in England & Wales with company number 07053448. Registered office 72 Cavendish Road Salford M7 4WA. Martin Lewis and Money Saving Expert are registered trademarks belonging to Martin Lewis.
And its still down so what a waste of time!0 -
Please note that once the album is in your account, you can download it at another time when the servers are clear. The download limit is not restricted.
*Exclusive for this offer only!
Not very clear what you mean by 'in your account'. I have an album in there. I've used the code. I've got a 'zero total order' and then it crashed at the next stage (multiple times). Went away. Came back. The album is still there but the code has been taken off (i.e. album is showing full price) so that there is no evidence that I used the code. I don't know any other website that does that.
This really is poor.
ON EDIT : As I said yesterday, I've spent way too much time on this. If they want me as a customer, they can do the decent thing and PM me with a code whilst they are here.

Yes, Martin has mentioned it before and it was launched at the latter part of last year. It is extremely good and enabled myself and others to get cheaper downloads.

With all due respect, why should they PM YOU the code. Thousands of others are having the problem but just haven't posted. If you try and purchase it again do so. We've all been having the same problem, so if all else fails, just WAIT and have PATIENCE. Also, (although it sounds like you have) make sure you are selecting an album from http://www.tunetribe.com/promotion/albumoffer0 -
Hello,
We have extended the TUNE promotion until the 28th of February, this will be enough time for people to get a free album. We are still having issues with the servers, but they will be expanded next week.
I apologise profusely for the frustration of a crashed site but we have been doing all we can to keep it up, and will continue to do so.
Many thanks for the good humour on these forums, and the criticisims!
There is still over 10,000 albums left (because the sites been down!), so you can take some time.
All the best,
TuneTribe0 -
Although very frustrating, its very nice to see that Tunetribe are at least keeping us up to date and i for one appreciate that! so thank you to them for extending this offer.
Some companies wouldnt give a sh..!0 -
I would assume because of this offer they are also loosing normal sales because people can't get on website at all?!
I successfully got my free album but can't download yet so will have to wait until website traffic reduced or as above servers expanded.0 -

Err...Because I guess that this 'promotion' is to attract new custom and I've tried my level best to be a 'customer' but they haven't let me. They have the ability to contact me by PM via this site...the promotion was supposed to be for MSE members. As a number of people have said, a ticketing system (instituted at any stage) would have been a million times better than this mess.
I'm sorry but I still have (i) some respect for the value of my time and (ii) some belief that there should be at least a mimimal level of 'customer service'. This little fiasco has become like grovelling for change in the street. Perhaps I'm an old fuddy duddy and internet shopping isn't for me.0 -

Well, as Christine has said, like everyone else WAIT and you will eventually get to download it. We've all had to, you're no different to us.0 -
The whole site is down at the moment, I tried the main page (www.tunetribe.com) as well as the link from Tunechecker, although at least they have extended the offer (it was due to end yesterday). Still, even if some of us manage to get our album I can't see them getting much business from this since so many people are annoyed with them. I still haven't got mine but will continue to try - not much I fancied but I spotted Dirk Wears White Sox by Adam and the Ants right at the bottom of the page (the one time I actually got as far as the available downloads page) which would be nice to have.
Good luck everyone and hope they sort out the problems soon - surely not everyone can be trying at the same time now? I would have thought quite a few will have given up altogether.2020 Wins:

Forgive me for not reading through this long thread if it's been covered,
but what did Tunetribe expect by announcing 10,000 free albums. Surely they realised that the servers were going to be deluged?0
