OUTCOME

Manufacturer of the phone has confirmed NO WATER DAMAGE OR DAMP IN HANDSET. Therefore car phone warehouse lied AGAIN, as suspected.

I am really pleased to be in the right but disgusted with the One Stop Phone Shop and Car Phone Warehouse.

Received my handset today from manufacturer with engineer note.

I rang Car Phone Warehouse (was told by escalation, if manufacturer finds no water damage handset will be replaced) goal posts moved by carphone warehouse lol.

Ive got to bring written proof (I have this yippeee)

Then im told..........(after I say yes I have this in my hand as we speak no probs)........ " there will be an investigation with the manufacturer and the carphone warehouse engineers, before any further action will be considered such as replacing handset"

On my asking; how long will it take am told................." I dont know, this is the first of its nature for a person to have this problem before.

mmmmmmmmmmmmn??? I ask as I roll off all that ive discovered and found out from looking at the experience of others like me.

Anyway people manufacturer has kindly replaced camera (as broken by car phone warehouse engineers) they have sorted the software issues, my video playback has a intermittent sound issue as of original fault still, manufacturer says welcome to send it in as I have a 30 day cover as of getting handset fixed, I also am within my rights to get handset replaced through One Stop phone Shop/Car Phone Warehouse so up to me.

Thing is Car Phone Warehouse are sooooo not capable of dealing with the situation.............lie soooo much AND move the goal posts.

I bought a phone.........reported my fault..........sent it off to get fixed......LIES....told it was beyond economical repair due to water damage.......challenged this report..........manufacturer got blamed.............LIES LOL (it never went to manufacturer)............got messed about by CPW and OSPS .............. MORE LIES - was told if I got 2nd opinion then from manufacturer as id been advised by manufacturer then CPW will change handset as of warranty...........collected handset date took back decades? Camera broken! original prob unfixed, collected with more probs..........contacted CPW AND OSPS going in circles being fobbed off rude and incompetant, talikng way out and unhelpfull staff............sent phone to manufacturer INSTEAD .........RESULT, NO DAMP DETECTED........HANDSET FIXED! LIES UNCOVERED Car phone warehouse caught out (with help of manufacturer lol)

DO NOT BELIEVE CAR PHONE WAREHOUSE REPAIRS REPORTS

GO TO MANUFACTURERS DIRECT INSTEAD

THEN AS IM GOING TO DO WILL TAKE IN MY REPORT TO CAR PHONE WAREHOUSE AND VOID THE SO CALLED "WATER DAMAGE LIES FROM BEFORE)

I WAIT WITH BELATED BREATH FOR CPW TO DO THIS ""INVESTIGATION""

I expect replacement handset will be wormed out of!


I am so annoyed with how this company thinks it can be rule unto itself and treat customers like this, lies and disrespect!

They have such a front, I would not entrust them to fix my handset again as would not know what to expect they are very very dishonest and untrustworthy, in fact a liability.

Something needs to be done!

il keep you posted as to outcome of the ""Investigation "" lol, most companies would be apologetic and put things right by now but NOT CAR PHONE WAREHOUSE POR ONE STOP PHONE SHOP! Any reputable company would bend over backwords to smooth it over at this point, so they are pro at con artistry!......and playing customers!

Seems they will avoid responsibility and stool you as long as possible! Without a care!


I just cant stand lies and can detect lies easy so it werent hard to catch them out, just hard to get them to back down and be responsible............Argh - What a wind up the One Stop Phone Shop and Carphone Warehouse companies are!............ they cant go on like this forever surely?
