Very normal, Bunny. R has also been bullied today but it's a complicated situation and I'm not sure what to do about it. Sighhhh.

Gym trainers are basically equipment monkeys - they know squat all about fuelling a training plan tbh - just eat when you are hungry and get 5 a day of fruit/veg - your body will tell you the rest and running will help to tune in to listen to it :D

(and a beer wont hurt if you want it - dont get into that thing of good food/bad food - its just food :D)

I find it 'easier' to eat when I have been the gym or for a run...or should I say I get fuller quicker and I am not as hungry....whereas DD1 gets extra hungry.
I have to agree with you Becky about food-I try not to think about things being good vs bad but dont normally succeed...

I don't really think about bad and good foods.....tbh I am so fussy with my food that just eating a balanced diet is enough for me. At least I don't live off mars bars and red bulls anymore (or pot noodles) and if anyone would have told me that wholemeal pitta breads would be my favourite food ever I would have laughed in their face...

If I have beer in the fridge I drink it and it makes me fall asleep and wake up feeling carp so I try to stay away from it.

My DS has told us at dinner tonight that he is being bullied by another boy (called Joe) in his class. Going to speak to his teacher in the am. Is it normal to feel like wanting to find said child and give him a massive telling off????

DD1 was bullied once by a whole gang of girls....I wanted to smack the lot of em...and very nearly did once (cept they were all bigger than me and I was scared!)

    They all became best friends....

edit: In fact DD1 is to be the birthing partner of the girl who bullied her the most at school...:rotfl:

  • Bunny it is normal. I don't have kids but when I was bullied at school my parents wanted to have words with said kids and their parents. What made it worse that my mum was friends with their mums.

My heart goes out to your son and Snaggs too - bullying is awful, as it can chip away at any self confidence/worth.

Creme eggs - blurgh. Give me a large bar of mint area or galaxy and I'm happy. I had to send a white chocolate orange otu to my OH so I didn't eat it!:rotfl:

Bunny - Totally normal - it's almost a feral feeling when your kids are involved isn't it?

Claire - did you get your sauce sorted?

I love creme eggs....I've not had one yet this year...how good am I!

Sammy I expect DD1 is more hungry than you because she hasn't been as active as you for the same length. If she is going full pelt out then burning glycogen more than fat and that makes you hungry. She needs to slow down a bit

Bun yes I too would want to go and smack him one...there is a horrible boy in B's class who keeps hitting her, teacher is very aware of his behaviour and they are trying to get on top of it, but he just swipes at people as he is walking past for example. Little shiitte
