Morning all

Rainy and blugh here today - my mood echos the weather.

A good result on ebay last night - just need to get everything packed up for posting later today (I hate that job)

Was sent this yesterday and found it very apt...
Real Mothers don't eat quiche;
They don't have time to make it.

Real Mothers know that their kitchen utensils
Are probably in the sandbox.

Real Mothers often have sticky floors,
Filthy ovens and happy kids.

Real Mothers know that dried play dough
Doesn't come out of carpets.

Real Mothers don't want to know what
The vacuum just sucked up.

Real Mothers sometimes ask 'Why me?'
And get their answer when a little
Voice says, 'Because I love you best.'

Real Mothers know that a child's growth
Is not measured by height or years or grade...
It is marked by the progression of Mummy to Mum to Mother...

The Images of Mother

4 YEARS OF AGE - My Mummy can do anything!

8 YEARS OF AGE - My Mum knows a lot! A whole lot!

12 YEARS OF AGE - My Mother doesn’t know everything!
14 YEARS OF AGE - My Mother? She wouldn’t have a clue.

16 YEARS OF AGE - Mother? She's so five minutes ago.

18 YEARS OF AGE - That old woman? She's way out ofdate!

25 YEARS OF AGE - Well, she might know a little bit about it!

35 YEARS OF AGE - Before we decide, let's get Mum's opinion.

45 YEARS OF AGE - Wonder what Mum would have thought about it?

65 YEARS OF AGE - Wish I could talk it over with Mum.

    Aww pooks that's lovely!

Had to cancel support sessions as a) the medication increase has tired me out, b) I can't face seeing people that much, it was a struggle to get into uni - I'll be putting my hat on in a sec, and c) I don't want to lash out at people or ignore them. I can do this, I can get through today

Morning, Pooky that's lovely, must be a bit emotional today as it made me cry. :o

    MOOOOORNING BECKY!!!!!!

Elfen, you can get through it. :grouphug:

Claire, hope the doctor is helpful today, be careful, don't overdo things.

    Squizz, poor you. *passes tissues*

Bunny - VERY gentle exercise, if you absolutely must. Don't try to run or cross train, just a little walk or something. [/bossy]

Being positive today even though it's hurting like hell. Don't let me dwell.

Well i've got a nice clean kitchen, i've mademy bed, (can't get in Nathans room to make his, so he can clean it when he comes home) Bens bed is too high lol.

Have sorted some washing out (put on radiators not tumble dryer) I'm trying to cut down honest guv lol

need to sort a pile of clothes out i put upstairs earlier but that can wait (or i'll get mum to help later)

Squizz, didn't really get much help from the storecupboard challenge thread, someone said i'd get 19 meals out of what i'd listed but didn't say what :(, anyways we.ve got loads of meat here now cause paul went to the meat van on Sat, so i'm hoping with whats in the freezer and cupboards i can last the month (might need a little help there) but will still need to buy veg, bread milk and packed lunch stuff.

So whizzing her round to DD1's for a bit and then off to meeting...and then back home to carry on working my butt off...have made a list of things I NEED to get done today so I shall be reporting back on a regular basis.
