Yeah, that's fine. Your definition of a lie is a still a bit odd though.
To you yes.
To others yes.
To others no.
To me no.
To the dictionary no.
Maybe it's one of those words where the meaning is so broad, the interpretation is open to abuse? Or maybe people simply dont understand it's meaning?
But that's the english language for you :beer:0 -

Next misunderstanding...
I never called anyone a lair! You cant do that, unless you can 100% prove they are wrong.
That doesnt stop someone from lying, ie the information is not true. (but as per post above we disagree on the definition)
My point about you not handling the truth was I beleived that you were or appears to be arguing for the validity of the figures without questioning them.
This has been a good thread as I've learnt that I am the sort of person who questions numbers and wants to know how things work.
While others dont. Maybe that is why I work with computers/numbers/maths and others paint etc?
Different minds, different views.
I've quite warmed to you on this thread abaxas.0 -

I would agree.
We need more open and frank discussions. We need people to listen as well as type. And most important of all we need people to finish arguments and discussions, not dissapear at the first wiff of losing.
ATTACK!
I think we need more pictures of small penises, more graphs, more wageslave, a return of Mr Brodders, another debate on the collapse of society and free beer. Preferably all in one thread.0
