Hi Anglea
Other addictions, was on a small bottle of diet coke per day, have crisps nearly every day and adore "fancy" crisps, sensations, Kettle chips etc.
Luckily have almost conquered my addiction to magazines over the years. At one point bought every single glossy every month. Now have just one on subscription and one that I buy on a regular basis - mainly for the freebies.
Haven't got into yoghurt coated bananas but do love chocolate covered peanuts!0 -

Even in work im at it when i finish my shift in a well known supermarket i end up spending £15 or £20 quid before i go home and thats after doing a weekly shop at £100 quid a few days before. I need help:eek:0 -

It took me a long time to realise that I REALLY LOVE SHOPPING. Unfortunately it took me a lot longer to realise that -
You don't have to have a new top everytime you go out - even if its from Primark.
You don't have to buy new toiletries just because they're new and improved especially when you have a shelf full of half used ones in the bathroom.
Buying jeans in the sale when you have exactly the same pair that you paid full price for at home isn't sensible - I don't work on a building site therefore jeans don't wear out.
Do you know what else I think I like - its the carrier bags that all this stuff goes in - I even have carrier bags that I save for best and don't reuse - now that is frightening.
So, I'm not venturing to the shops for a month, window shopping is cancelled as the doors have a habit of opening and dragging me inside and before I know it I'm in a queue for the till.
If I can do it for a month then I'll tackle a second month and a third and a fourth......and I'll look at my best carrier bags and fill them with the stuff I'v bought, never worn and take them to the charity shop.2013 - Finally got the house we' ve worked so hard to get......now it's a life of diy and no money....couldn't be happier 😊
2020 - mortgage free target set 8 years and counting 🎯
Even the longest walks start with one small step....get your boots on.0 -
