    Yay friday, wahoo!!!

Having my last spendy day today. I'm going to go to the £ shop and stock up on chocolate, for times of need. Then I'm going to try and make the rest of the month no spend days *gulp*

Reflection on yesterday, made some nice friends at the ILM which is good, also feel confident that this is something I can do now. The reason that I get so angry when he blatantly takes the p with regards to expectations of his 'secretary' is that I know that I am capable of more and I'm frustrated. Answer, get out and get more money. :)

The other job is at the old place where I had trouble in my first page on here, but I figure that that was a different department, and now I am wiser, have more experience, and will be going in at a higher position. Scary, but the experience would be good, and that's all I want really, so that I can get a better job, have more money, and start living the good life.

    Have a super friday everyone.

    xx

Today was a little bit spendy, but that was to stock up on stuff so that I can leave my purse at home for the next two weeks.

67p pack 6 hula hoops for work next week
78p 6 wagon wheels for work next week
67p l litre cola for snacky drinking at work
£1 Timotei shampoo 400ml-this replaces the £11 i normally spend on Kerastase
£1.79 lavender oil-multi use, but mostly for keeping clothes moths at bay, and for nice nights sleep
    45p toilet budget toilet roll
    67p fishcakes for dinner
99p (ok £4.95 with postage) replacement white linen Nicole Farhi skirt from ebay to wear in the summer.

    £10.98

No alchohol bought for the weekend, which saves money, lavender oil should last all year, saving £'s on anti moth satchets, skirt was to replace an ageing one, and was a bargain at 99p, timotei, Asda deal.Home made foraged Nettle beer brewing for the weekend cost £1.00 for 8 litres.

See I am spending but I'm cutting back on the my toiltries-both using old things up, and replacing needed items with £1 bargain offers rather than £10-£11 per item I used to spend.

    Cutting back in 2010.

    Wahooo!!!

Was fairly happy today as I know that soon I will have a more challenging and better paying job, so I'll be able to shift this lot quicker. Yay!

Taking my purse out of my bag at the weekend, no more spending.

    3) Clean house top to bottom
    4) Washing
    5) Wash car
    6) Apply for jobs
    7) Finish ILM assignment

Ooh it's bloomin awful here, raining, windy, cold.

Got soaked going round the market for the weekly shop. It was worth it though, healthy eating and all for £9.71, that has to be the cheapest week ever. Well £12.71 if you include socks from Primark, toothpaste and deoderant. I'm off to have a nice hot bubble bath with a book. I may do some housework later, but this weather just makes you want to snuggle down with a brew and a nice read. Yuk!

Definitely a holiday to Corsica next year, I want some sunshine.

Oh why, why, why, why, why did I have to go getting all preachey and then look on ebay?

I saw perhaps the shoes I sold years ago and regret it with 5 hours to go. I suspect they are the same ones because they are my size, have net a porter tag still attached and were bought some years ago (i think they were from 2004)http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=320526550353&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT

Also had these, but mine were silver, and had the same style with chocolate brown leather strap and turquoise stones in the heel. Beautiful. Fortunately these gold ones are not my size-phew!http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=330430698381&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT

I loved these-dammit, why did I sell those others? Something like this is currently retailing at £600

Not doing it, I'm in control. I put a nice picture of them in my collage in paint entitled 'past shoe loves'. I can look whenever I want to and remember them fondly. Debt free me here I come.

If I happen to look in another few years time and the same pair pop up, then I'll buy them, but for now I have to remain strong. This is so hard but I'm getting stronger. Think the thing that stopped me was the fact that I could no longer have that statement on my signature that I hadn't used a credit card since feb. I have to learn that if I don't have the cash, I have to go without. I could of course have stuck them on the credit card, and then sold some things on ebay to pay for them, but it wouldn't be the same. That initial act of putting them on the credit card, would have undone all my hard work.

    No Thrifty, no!

Going to go and grab that Milka bar out of the fridge and scoff it now.

I spent today, but I bought Glamour as it had SJP on, and she is fab, and Kristin Davis who looks so classic is in red magazine, so I might buy that too.

    xx

I have both :o Love SJP's outfit on the cover - am going to try to recreate it

Ooh let me know how you get on. I wish I had lush locks like her, and the spangly Louboutins wouldn't go a miss either

I don't have the locks, unfortunately! My hair is like Cynthia Nixon's but a bit shorter :)

    Hi,

Productive day ahead, didn't list anything on ebay last night as I ended up watching tv and drinking wine.

Poor night sleep again. Too cold, too hot, weird dream where I was standing in ex mothers house, he was washing up (that was too weird in itself), and I had a luggage bag with me. Got a text joke from manager at work, and then said to him, well got to go, I've got the dinner on back home. This was whilst all his family were upstairs getting ready to go out.

    Weird!

Anyway glad that I didn't bid on the shoes, scared but kind of looking forward to applying for this job. The irrational side of me says 'just because you did your ILM, how the hell are you going to manage a bunch of people?, they'll run riot, think you're a muppet, then you'll get fired'. The rational side of me says 'well if my manager now can do it, I sure as hell can'. And besides, I want to progress with my career, and even more want a better salary so I have a chance of being able to afford a house.
