:wave:Morning everyone
Did an audit of my toiletries yesterday, and it seems that I'm sorted for a very long time.
Showergel-will last until March 2013
3 1/2 bottles of Marc Jacobs Blush (picked these up last summer for £1 each. Bargain!), will last until march 2011-super concentrated, so you don't have to use much
3 bottles Annick Goutal-last till march 2012 (£3 each in sale, also a bargain)
1 bottle Molton Brown Coco De Mer (free with magazine subscription, and cancelled subscription getting 11 months money back, this also came with a full size body lotion, so I have some of that too!)-last till march 2013
Ooops! But they were a bargain. Can't believe I don't have to buy showergel until 2013. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Cleanser I have enough for the rest of the year. Same with face cream, lady items (down to 68p, plus that free Jemma Kidd lipgloss, so I have enough lady items until January 2011, and enough free lipgloss for the next 2 years). Conditioner and shampoo for the rest of the year.
Makeup, I have enough for the next year or two. I know you should use things up in 6 months, but I don't go in for all that. If there's some left, it's not getting thrown out.
I have all the clothes I need, so apart from food and OU courses, nothing to spend for the rest of the year (that's a weird thought). Ooh, unchartered territory for me.
And about the above. Going to stop worrying. I always take on other peoples worries, and quite frankly I have enough of my own. Mother I will take it has planned this, and if we can't pay the difference, we'll have to wash pots up round the back. Simple as that!

Hi NTBY,
I know, that was really shocking. But then again by stockpiling like this I have saved myself probably a lot of money (I don't know how that works, but it seems to in my head anyhow).
Had a few sales go through on ebay today, which brings me a bit further back from the brink. Going to put a few items on there today for next week.
Got to thinking again whether I should just have a blitz and get rid of everything designer that I own? Maybe it is like a poison drug, and just having one bit of it hanging around, just reminds me of what a silly billy I've been. Well actually that's a bit of a silly idea, because then I'd be left with nothing to put on my soon to be super slimline figure, and nothing special for nights out.
It is a bummer though when you get a few ebay sales go through, and you start looking around the house for anything and everything you can sell. Although, the idea is to get rid of stuff that you no longer need or use, and these things are laying dormant until I lose the weight. So hang onto them I think. It's just the adding it all up and thinking if I got what I wanted for all of it, I'd probably be able to lop 3k off that total.
Not just yet. Lets concentrate on getting rid of the stuff that no longer fits me, is of no real loss if it goes for next to nothing on there.

So the first day of diet begins, and I'm starving.
For breakfast I have, cup of hot water, muesli and natural yogurt and a banana
Lunch-Pitta bread with avocado, pine nuts, spinach and water cress
Snack a Jacks
Made a few sales on ebay last night so got the posting to do. Always have to remember when doing sales that I need to have the postage money in the bank as it takes 3 days to transfer from Paypal (boo), so that tops me up another £53. Put a few items on for next weekend for 99p, things that I'm not really bothered about it they sell too cheaply. Will use the free listing weekends to sell the more expensive stuff.
So here we go. Monday. It's going to be a great one, it is!
One week to payday. I just have to get through this week.

Evening all
Diet went kind of ok today. I did have a bag of cheesy poofs at lunch because I thought I really wanted them.Turns out I didn't want them all that much, I like the healthy food much more.
Dinner was home made pasta sauce, with no oil or anything bad in it, tuna mixed in with peas and green lentils. Sounds gross doesn't it? It was actually really nice.
Feeling a lot more calm and settled today. I think this is because I haven't spent money (well £1.50), but I know I don't need crisps and chocolate in my diet now, and I know that I am on the path to recovery-diet wise and financially. I'm going to have a nice bath and then watch an episode of SATC snuggled up in bed with the laptop. Have chosen the episode (i think season 5) where summer turns to fall, and Carrie phones big to announce it is fall, and she has to get the blanket out of the wardrobe for the first time, because it has just started to get cold. I love the music and it's just really about accepting change and moving on and looking forward to what surprises lay ahead of you. Very apt I feel.

Grrr bloomin clothes moths. I just saw another little critter flying round the bedroom, and promptly squished him. Hoping the wardrobe will be safe. I've put so much lavender in there, there is a nauseating whiff of the stuff when you open the doors. There are so many things they could eat, not my woollens and silks. Why do you never see sheep with bald patches?

Hmmm. Well moth detective lost the trail of moth number three from tonight. He'll show himself at some point and them bam! I'll squish him. Got enough lavender oil going on round the room to make me sleep for a thousand years. I'll flush the little critters out! Tomorrows task is to store away in air tight containers the woollens and silks. Typical, I just get a wardrobe so that finally I can hang them up properly and then there are these little horrors flying round the room looking for some lurve and a tasty snack.
One fowl swoop into that wardrobe and they'll think it was the woodstock all over again. The amount of lavender will knock them for six. Checked my lovely silk tafeta Kenzo jacket and all seems to be safe so far. They dare touch that or my antik batik dress, and I'll be after them in a Kill Bill stylee. How come something always wants to invade your space? There's plenty of room outside for all you little critters to get along happily, sod off out the house!
Hmmm maybe i could sprinkle the oil along the skirting board, just incase there are any caterpillars.
It says to keep clear and tidy but there are some places you just can't get with the hoover, especially in a cottage this small where the bed basically takes up the whole room. You have to have things stored under it, and they will gather dust, and I bet this is where the little monsters hide, and hatch out into moths the next summer. So sneaky!
Anyhow before I get more paranoid spot the moth, I'm going to turn the light down and read my book, and try and forget all about them. Anyone want to takes bets that my dream tonight will be about a giant moth coming to eat me?
Night, night.
xx

Hi,
Had an annoying day today, but didn't let it bother me too much. Found moth number three that was hiding, and I got him good! The lavender was so strong, we could smell it when we opened the front door tonight. Oops!
Been giving some serious thought to selling off the clothing and shoes and just keeping a few special items. I don't know, we'll see. The thought of being out of debt sooner is appealing though, especially in the current climate. The future seems just so unsteady. Will keep taking any training that is going in order to boost chances of staying employable.
The expensive clothes are a bit of a bind. Having to keep a lookout for moths all the time incase they are devouring a £300 garment is a nightmare. Which also means that you can't keep them hanging up nicely as they should be. If it's a £5 top from dotty P's, you don't mind wearing it to death, screwing it up, washing it over and over. No moth will touch it, as it's usually made of cotton, so no worry.
Hmmm we'll see.

Have you tried cedar wood blocks for moths my mom swears by them and when the smell fades a bit you just use sandpaper to freshen them up. Ive put a link below so you can have a look I think this is where mom got them from. HOpe it helps.:D
