Sorry, just had to get this one in. Currently have an item listed for twice the price that this person is offering. Can you believe some people???? It cost £410 new and is unworn. I DON'T THINK SO!! If it's that pretty, put a bid on it. Honestly!

Hello - if you dont sell your lovely dress and you re-list it with a Buy it Now Price of £40 - I would buy it straight away! Let me know if this is a possibility! Thank you

    PS to the above.

Do you guys think I could wander into a shop and try this. 'Hey there Mr Choo, hows tricks? I love these shoes, now if you could sell them to me for a tenner I'd definitely buy them'

I think his response would be something along the lines of 'Yeah, and I also like to watch paint dry, just for the hell of it, get out of here!'

    Here is my new mantra

I may be in debt but I'm normal, I may be in debt but I'm normal.

Phew! Well that's monday over and done with, just three more days until I can tumble those totals. May need to allow a little money for purchase of some new t-shirts for the summer, as mine are looking pretty tired and worn out now.

Really enjoying the light evenings. Just mown the lawn (landlord popped a note around to say he had removed the invasive daisy from the border as it had started to invade the lawn. Felt compelled then to mow the lawn, and also remove my tubs from the front of the house, as he is currently preparing the windows to be repainted.

He is a sweet old gent, but sometimes having your landlord so close can be a curse too. Constantly feel like we are being watched, and needing to keep on top of things for show. Especially when you come home and he has been pottering round in the garden-can't wait till we get our own place, because it will be ours, and if we have weeds in the border, they can stay there for as long as we want them too. We don't have to immediately go out, after having a knackering day at work and start gardening.

In the area of the village that we live the grey pound predominates the young renting pound it seems.

Anywho, not long till we get our own abode. We won't be able to afford to live in this village but whatever we do have will be our own. We will have to take the day off to have a gas inspection, but it will be arranged at our convenience, and we won't have to take random days off work, just to avoid having the landlord see the inside of his place-well you can't keep it looking like a showhome all the time, it's exhausting.

Anyway, vino on the go, fishcakes chips and peas for dinner mmmm.

Oh and sinned spending pennies wise, as M&S had their offer on for 2 dine for £10, got a whole chicken, roast potatoes, stack of profiteroles and bottle of white wine. Very MSE if I do say so myself!!

Hope you all had a super fab dab monday.

    xx

    Welcome back Mrs R.
For anyone who was unlucky enough to see last nights rantings, I apologise for my too detailed winge.

Going to have a better day today, and many profiteroles to be eaten tonight.

Beautiful weather and so many pretty things in the shops, this is torture. Eeek!

Forgive me fellow DFWs for I have sinned. In a moment of weakness today in TK MAXX I purchased a dress. It was bargainacious at £29.99 down from £150, but I was fed up, and I didn't need it, but I wanted it, pure and simple. It ate into my overdraft too, so I wasn't real cash. Bad, bad thrifty. But it was spangly and it caught my eye :(

I've decided that wardrobe purchase wasn't so bad. It's all part of creating the illusion of the more confident me. If I have some armour on the outside, then at least I can start to believe it on the inside.

On another note, had a very annoying response to my query at work today. A lot of work getting slung my way that should really be dealt with by my equivalent in another office. Now don't get me wrong, I'm not the sort of person to day 'whoa, stop right there, not my job' because I enjoy nothing more than a new challenge, but this is starting to take the p.

I queried it, my manager has been completely walked over, and now I have to take on extra responsibilities end of.

OK, well my answer to that is, cheers for my training, thank-you very much, and now I'll just add that other persons job description onto the end of my own, and go get myself a fabulous job. Screw you!! (not you guys, those guys)
