Maty, you make a very good point! I don't think I have ever said I WANTED to do the course before now!
Not turning the TV over is sheer laziness. I watched the news and never quite got around to turning it over or off. I haven't actually been watching but one of the Crimewatch stories did penetrate and I went to go lock the front door! Not without wondering if any-one had already sneaked in and I hadn't heard!
For the rocord, I will be out tomorrow night and walking Thurs and Friday! So you only need to worry if I haven't popped back on by Satuday morning sometime! :rotfl:
I have been browsing the art of brilliance site. When I make my happy hat, I will make sure it say "I am brilliant" on it!:rotfl: (Erm, that won't make sense to any-one reading this that doesn't read Cheri's diary. Suffice to say, make yourself a happy hat! It's the way forward!

Here's my happy hat! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
(Yes, I made it in paint. Reckon I can be a hat designer if my current career doesn't pan out! :rotfl: It took me longer to figure out how to save it to post it here!)

Double checked student loan calculations, partly because this month's D/D for the fixed term student loan (SLC1 in signature) came off on 10th... it's now sitting at £821.43.
But also becasue theat second student loan (SLC2 in sig.) confuses me! It's income contingent, so basically a percentage comes off my wages each month depending on what I earn. The SLC statements are always way behind (by a year) the actual payments, which I assume has more to do with when work and/or Inland Revenue pass info. onto them... hence the reason it looked as thought my debt jumped up a couple of grand in the last month or so! The actual statement states I still owe the amount in my signature. As it's my paper copy, I'll keep to that in my signature.
However, their website lets me put in what I have paid each month over the years. So when I update with that info. what I currently owe, calculated in the last 10 minutes, is £2,475.26.
So, on course to have those debts looking good by the time I am embroiled deep in the depths of VSO preparation!Current total as per signature: £12,931.82. Current total with SLC2 deductions: £11,649.70
Right, today is study leave, so I shouldn't be here...
Catch you all later! Hope you all have your happy hats on!Jan10: 28,315.81 Jan11: 18,015.32 Jan12: 7,682.58 Jan13: 2,987.73 Current debt: 1,225.55

RBS now at £2,836.02, so another £12ish off that running total from earlier
.
Trying to figure out my credit card. It's set up to be paid of in full via direct debit each month. But I can't figure out when the cut off dates are. Or why they seem to be charging me a fiver in interest when it's set up to be paid within the time scales. Methinks something fishy is going on but just can't work out what! Harrumph. Will sleep on it.Jan10: 28,315.81 Jan11: 18,015.32 Jan12: 7,682.58 Jan13: 2,987.73 Current debt: 1,225.55

:j My friends sent me a pressie for helping them move. I finally got a stripey book deckchair. :j I've looked at them a few times but now I'm entrenched in MSEthink, I couldn't let myself get one.
You never grow out of getting cool things through the post!
Stupid question alert. Any-one else feel they get "sweaty hands" if they use nail strengthener (or even nail varnish) on their nails?No... just me then?
:rotfl:
Supervisor on annual leave for the next thre and a half weeks. (Yes. She left me a list. Did you need to ask? A page and a half of A4.) I was expecting more from her. She can do better than that. :rotfl:
ETA: The art dawg thing was because I'd clearly not downloaded the dancing smiley after the bit about supervisor being on holiday as I thought I had! And it was bandwidth thing, which I don't really understand but should probably find out more about!Jan10: 28,315.81 Jan11: 18,015.32 Jan12: 7,682.58 Jan13: 2,987.73 Current debt: 1,225.55

ONLY a page and a half???? She is losing her touch :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: Must have been in need if that holiday
And where did Art Dawg sneak in from?????:j Proud Member of Mike's Mob :j0 -
Always wanted one for the cook books in the kitchen. I might even use them now I have one!
Naturally supervisor needs her holibags; she has a rebellious colleague getting in her hair and causing havoc! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Missed bank charges by the skin of my teeth! The extra money I swapped to be in my acccount for credit card cleared today. Which is handy as the money came off today! And my second job pay also went in today. Which I hadn't realised so was staring atthe screen wondering what was wrong!
Now need to do transfers back the way, but I'm working in 20 minutes so I'll do that later.
My friend's wee boy has broken his leg so I'm not sure what that means for the festival.Haven't called her yet as she's still on her holidays at the caravan park. And I figure she might need to calm down a bit and see how he copes over the week. And whether we can take the boys will very much be weather depedent! (Both boys will be immobile so muddy fileds are probably not a goer.
)
Right... work....
Cathch you all later. Have a lovely weekend.Jan10: 28,315.81 Jan11: 18,015.32 Jan12: 7,682.58 Jan13: 2,987.73 Current debt: 1,225.55

Me likey the stripey deckchair for books
Laughed my way through your post :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Only you could end up with too much money in the account and think there is something wrong :rotfl:
Sorry to hear your have a rebellious colleague getting in supervisor's hair and causing havoc. No wonder she is stressed. But we all know you are not like that at all, heavens if she had two of you she would be off to the funny farm :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Nowadays they don't tend to use traditional plaster on breaks so muddy fields may still be OK, fingers crossed. Also depends if it is a full or half leg cast - plastic carrier/bin bags can be very useful for keeping them dry anyway (I speak from experience!):j Proud Member of Mike's Mob :j0 -

That sounds like a plan Maty!Nowadays they don't tend to use traditional plaster on breaks so muddy fields may still be OK, fingers crossed. Also depends if it is a full or half leg cast - plastic carrier/bin bags can be very useful for keeping them dry anyway (I speak from experience!)
I agree on bin bags and plaster casts. I did my first 6 weeks of nurse training with a cast on my arm. Could even shower the patients with a bag over the cast.
If it is pinned or a fracture that breaks the skin it would be madness to go anywhere near a field.
