Nelmer, if you get the chance to sneak away when no-one's paying attention, I totally recommend it! It was very relaxing (I am surprised I didn't fall asleep in the cinema though
).
Lemon Tree - thank you! The party was great! We don't often have so many members of the family together... we're already trying to think up the next excuse! And I managed to dance all night in my 6 inch heels! (Couldn't walk to the bar though, had to persuade Dad that was his job for the night.)
Anonymoose, :hello:. Your name makes me smile every time I see it. (I didn't really need the Kill Doll Pumps either. :shhh:)
I'm back and feeling tired and groggy from an afternoon nap!
But am happy as I've just remebered I've cup cakes to be eaten and because I should be able to completely pay off my credit card by the end of the week. :j Another creditor bites the dust!Jan10: 28,315.81 Jan11: 18,015.32 Jan12: 7,682.58 Jan13: 2,987.73 Current debt: 1,225.55

I'm so chuffed with the Dancing on Ice final! But what am I going to do on Sunday nights from now on?
I guess I could make it spending diary update time!!!
Thankfully I have The Restoration Man to keep me happy. I want a house to restore! (Because I don't have enough to deal with with two jobs, a N Rock mortgage and a load of debts!!!)

:rotfl: Then you should probably know my experience comes solely from watching Grand Designs and The Restoration Man... and sweeping up after my Dad as a kid (he's a joiner).
But, if that's ok with you...Jan10: 28,315.81 Jan11: 18,015.32 Jan12: 7,682.58 Jan13: 2,987.73 Current debt: 1,225.55

Transferred money from account pay goes into to account most direct debits come out off.
RBS direct debit comes out of account pay goes into (they won't let me change it, boo!) and is currently about £100 short... but it's ok because I'm about to go and pay £660 into that account, covering the shortfall and also having enough spare to clear the Virgin credit card :j:j:j:j
I also just discovered I have £27 in survey rewards. I thought I had a few pounds! It's my birthday in May so hopefully I can round it up to £30 by then and get myself a wee pressie
.
So feeling motivated to get through that list from a few pages back!!!
Boss came to visit this morning ("no pressure to return to work...but your sick line is about to run out and you have been off for a long time..."). We sorted out some practicalities - and cleared up the fact that I am not, and never have been anorexic :(. But it's sorted now!
Aparently I am "very focused" when I "have the bit between my mouth" and I "don't do off the cuff well". (I didn't think we were supposed to in the NHS). So some interesting things to think about on both sides!
And *gossip alert* some-one has been dismissed. There is an appeal (naturally, given who was dismissed). Annoyingly you still get paid if you've been dismissed but are appealing. While I can see this needs to be the case for the innocent people out there, in this case, it's infuriating! Thankfully I've missed all the drama.
Right, off to pay in that money so I can wipe MBNA off my signature asap.

Thank you Anonymoose
Check out that signature... MBNA away! I was going to wait to check it had all gone through and for the updated Virgin statement... but I was too excited!
Now impatiently waiting for The One Show to start as I've been keeping up to date with Lisawaters thread and he'll be on it tonight regarding his horrid time with a dodgy builder. Wish I'd some chocolate...Jan10: 28,315.81 Jan11: 18,015.32 Jan12: 7,682.58 Jan13: 2,987.73 Current debt: 1,225.55

Oops, in all my excitement, I conveniently forgot to mention todays spends...
£4.00 medicine
£3.75 addidas top from the charity shop. (I have accidently managed not to go to the gym for the last couple of weeks so perhaps a new top will renew my enthusiasm!)
And that's it.
I did try to go to a place near me that reportedly does sewing classes/workshops (:j how exciting!)... but it was closed.
Ooh, which reminds me, mum knitted me a fabby, cosy big cardi... excellent for those spring/summer nights (wherever they are hiding!). It probably would have cost a small fortune in a "real" shop. But probably best I learn how to use my sewing machine before I start on the knitting :rotfl:
Mum also gave me her old yoga mat so I no longer have to slip and slide on the council matsAnd 2 yoga books and a DVD. I do believe she has just saved me a small fortune!
Such a spoiled child am I!
P.S. And you can stick your yoga mat in the wash. Who knew?Jan10: 28,315.81 Jan11: 18,015.32 Jan12: 7,682.58 Jan13: 2,987.73 Current debt: 1,225.55

The presenter's in The One show are really annoying! But :j, they named and shamed the builder! I hope it helps the cause!Jan10: 28,315.81 Jan11: 18,015.32 Jan12: 7,682.58 Jan13: 2,987.73 Current debt: 1,225.55

Which is the Lisawaters thread? I saw the item, but had no idea what they were talking about, although I have had rather an odd, sleep-filled day.
Well done on clearing the MBNA card!! :j:j
