Hey, if I can spend all day writing up 3 papers and designing templates (yawn........) you can get the coursework done easily. At least it is a topic you are interested in.

Ohhhh, the pressure! :) Mati - you are on! (Probably the new transport museum is closest but we'll need to [STRIKE]swim[/STRIKE] get the boat across the river! Otherwise you can't beat a bit of Kelvingrove! :D (Remind me which weekend you're up - it's the one I'm back, isn't it?

Best get a shift on with this stuff. No it isn't started yet, but that's 'cos my great aunt fell and was taken into hospital (she's in her 90s and refuses to use the things she has to help.). She stays next door to my Granny and I was there...

So today I'm picking Granny up from her shopping and meeting up with my brother and nephew... going round the houses, literally... doglets get their dinner at 4pm... so I am setting that as my time for me to sit down and concentrate!!!

Oh lucky you two. Sounds like that will be a lovely weekend. Mr C has taken himself oop North to sort some legal stuff with Mr Senior and then he is heading to the proms. I am not jealous, I really DO hope he has a nice time. I will not be lonely and miserable (without a car and no public transport).

Sorry I meant to say have a lovely weekend

You had better have your nose in a book Nic (and not a novel)

Ok, so I'm very slow off the staring blocks, but I have completed one more assessment!

Just 5 more assessments and 2 assignments to go... Next up: "The assignment: module 3".

3 papers in one day, Cheri - how do you do that!? This assignment is bizarre as it is asking me to discuss company policy on dementia in light of two specific papers... I know we don't have an agreed policy (across the board). What we do currently have is, verbatim, the two papers in question! Now I know spouting that back won't pass!

Anyhoo, once that assignment is out of the way, then the other 5 assessments and one assignment belong to the next module so I really need to stop faffing and just get something on paper!

I think the trick is to [STRIKE]actually get up[/STRIKE] (ridiculous idea) not fall back into a deep sleep (also highly unlikely!) when doglets awaken me for their breakfast in the morning (little missy moo was so impatient at my refusal to wake up at half 5 this morning that, by the following hour, she had had enough and actually came into the room, jumped on the bed and squashed me.) I was not amused! But I did obligingly stagger through to give them their breakfast!

I'm not sure [STRIKE]how well[/STRIKE] if I can concentrate at that time in the morning! Except on being grumpy! :D Though must admit, it would be a wonderful time to take them for a walk!

    In other Nicca news:

RBS is sitting at £2,487.80 and is still waiting for the hundred to come off.

VSO are holding an information night for potential volunteer health professionals in Edinburgh mid-October (the week after the conference in fact) so I have signed up to attend that.

Calf muscles are not happy and I'm hoping it is the change in walking terrain and footwear rather than general fitness for walking! There are few muddy bridle pathways in the city that require turquoise wellies to tramp through the puddles! :D

Xbox kinect is rather fun though bl**dy hard work! And still I was beaten by a four year old!

    Tomorrow: the assignemt!

    Good night all! :)
