Our local health food stopped selling dry puy lentils but we have found that Julian Graves stock them. Think they were £1.89 for 500g.

They tend to be packaged in a 'posh' range rather than in the basic bags. But they still work out as a thrifty food.

  • You could make a veggie shephards pie

This one uses green lentils but I'm sure it would work with others

Can they be made with puy instead of black lentils?
