    I have a dilemma today.
£40 for a leg wax eyebrow threading and mini facial or I could just get eyebrows done for £5 and do my legs myself.Since I'm trying to restrict toiletry spending I have also noticed that beauty treatments are getting pricey &I would rather the save the money for baby.Has anyone tried veet in shower cream -I could get that with my boots points therefore no cash spend -I do have wax strips and razors but can't reach and stretch because of baby bump.decisons decisions???
I tried veet and ended up throwing most of it out,I found it messy to apply in the bathroom and leave on(esp in cold weather) and fiddly to get off once in the shower so back to shaving or the odd wax for me:)
  • I've used the Veet on my arms that you put on before you get in the shower and then rub off after a few minutes. I thought it was much better than the old Immac from about 20 years ago (which was probably the last time I used a depilatory cream). They still smell awful though.

Oh before any of you think I live off the government/dont do uni/ etc I don't. I do read a hell of a lot and I have around £160 a week to spend, I never spend it all though! I do loads of self study and read up on things that don't have anything to do with my course... Looked for a job nothing around here!

I understand the university = shopping time thing, I was exactly the same! I was in Boots etc every day :) I still have some of my uni stuff unopened :rotfl:

Haven't finished any more products, but I have finished another box of fruity tea. My self-imposed tea challenge seems to be going a lot better than this one, but not for want of trying.

We didn't think that, we were just intrigued how you do it. I work in a Uni and most of the students don't pay their fees or rent because they are so skint (so they say). We are cynical and assume it's spent on getting drunk. :rotfl:

Thanks for all the suggestions on make-up brushes, you lot are fantastic :T The ELF ones look nice and thats just what I'm looking for price wise. The crown brush website is calling to me. I've added the link to my faves (mistake) and I'm trying my best to not click on it  I keep logging into my bank instead lol.

What is a skinnie voucher? I'm imagining it being a smaller slimmer voucher then the normal type :rotfl:I know I'm wrong but it makes me laugh (good god what am I saying :o )

Haven't used anything up today but nearly managed to get to Boots by accident. We were on our way to get the dog a birthday pressie and the OH nearly took a wrong turn... "I nearly drove to Boots then instead" he says :rotfl:

Had a nice bath, cleaned the bathroom the went downstairs and made bolognese so now I stink of garlic and onion :(

I got a No7 tinted moisteriser today in my order in fair and even though it still looks a bit dark it's the nicest one I've found for a long long time :T I had a Nivea one years ago that I bought from a cheapie place (super save? maybe if thats the name) and it was gorgeous but I never ever found it again :(
Even if you stumble, you're still moving forward.
