    I have a dilemma today.
£40 for a leg wax eyebrow threading and mini facial or I could just get eyebrows done for £5 and do my legs myself.Since I'm trying to restrict toiletry spending I have also noticed that beauty treatments are getting pricey &I would rather the save the money for baby.Has anyone tried veet in shower cream -I could get that with my boots points therefore no cash spend -I do have wax strips and razors but can't reach and stretch because of baby bump.decisons decisions???

It's £20 for legs,£5 for eyebrows and £15 for a facial..I have been hiding my legs under trousers but don't want to scare the consultant on friday at my antenatal appointment.I think I will attempt it myself with the help of OH- will have to visit boots to see what they have which is easiest.
On the subject of brushes OH got me some brushes from bodyshop as part of my valentines pressy, i'm thrilled but I bought Ruby&millie brushes from the 750points offer from boots I really don't need 2 sets I have a couple of no7 and mac brushes in use already.-don't know what to do now?

I'd do eyebrows myself, and pay just for legs. thats only £15. a lot better than £40.

This might be of no use if you're heavily pregnant (as your bump might get in the way) but I bought an epilator years ago to use on my legs and it's saved me a fortune in leg waxes. You get used to the bit of pain like you do with waxing and you can use it whenever you like. I find the hair grows back a lot more sparsely now than it did with waxing too.

If you've got enough Boots points you could get one in there or maybe shop around for a cheaper one?

I keep thinking I should try epilating, I never have....I shave usually. I just hate the idea of spending the money to save money and then not getting on with it. :o

Anyone else get the Gwen Stefani L.A.M.B shower gel/body lotion/perfume deal a few weeks back?
Well this morning I used all 3, wanted to make an impression as I had a job interview, and the taxi driver (black Hackney, so he must have smelled me through the glass!) said 'you smell great, what is that?' when I went to get out! He says he's going to get it for his OH for Valentine's Day! :)
Only thing is, now I'm worried I maybe overdone it and my interviewer was overpowered?? Oh God, I'm a born worrier, this will be my worry of choice until I hear if I got the job.
Still nice to get a compliment though! I have a big party on Saturday night, so will use the Gwen stuff again then, the shower gel lathers up brilliantly by the way! :)
Come ride with me, through the veins of history...
I'll show you how God falls asleep on the job.

No I didn't get the deal what was it? It must be good if a taxi driver noticed it!

I think if a taxi driver loved it in a confined cab, which probably had heating on, it was probably PERFECT in an interview room. ;)

I find it hard not to wear too much perfume, but have been complimented on it a lot recently.

Well I think epilating is fab! Shaving does my head in, cos it always feels like it's growing back the next day. Epilating lasts for weeks and if you get the odd bit coming back you can just re-do it for free. I personally think it lasts longer than waxing.

I must admit I haven't dared use it on my underarms yet, and I've never had them waxed either, that skin just seems to sensitive for it. I will attempt it one day when I'm feeling brave.
