If you have a book stash that you have read then check out readitswapit.co.uk You list your books, other list theres and you swap. All it costs is the price of P&P each. I have decided today that I want to read the belle de jour series - so far I have 2 of 4 requests accepted. Eh Voila - I have new books and get rid of the ones I've read.
Do you realise you have made a HUGE step in using the library and not rushing out to buy the books you want....... I am a bit of a book addict and used to spend a fortune before I discovered the above site.
This is off topic, but I have a slightly cheaper way of getting the book. Please do not do this unless you can resist spending money on other things that you do not need.
Register on priceminister and spend £5.01. Enter the code 'kelkoo' for £5.00 off your first order. Postage is free.
Confessions of a shopaholic (admittedly it is an American version, but I'm not sure that really matters?) is £3.60, add something else over £1.41 to your basket (I chose never play snap with a shark, another book, which is £1.52) which left me with 12p to pay.
This is cheaper than paying P&P on a book from elsewhere. If you go through topcashback, you'll get £2 cashback too, leaving you in £1.88 profit
EDIT: My priceminister on topcashback has already tracked (very quick!) but it has tracked at 41p - possibly because I used the code? Doesn't matter, still in profit, albeit only 30p :rotfl:
EDIT AGAIN: I'm being thick, ignore me. That was a previous transaction that has tracked0 -
I love that film!

Do you think much of the champneys? I had the overnight hannd cream that was quite good, but have the hand & body lotion now- i think its pretty useless
I use their body lotions as hand lotion. I like the body butters and the rose and skin comfort shower gels.I went away and now I'm back.:j:j0 -

I'm loving reading all the posts, even though I've only posted once...it's lovely reading everyone supporting each other, and SA please don't feel bad...we're all going to have tough times doing this challenge. While yours is now, I know mine will be later...we're all here to support each other, and as EssexHebridean said, the support thread idea is great xx
I know I'll fall off the wagon this month, as I really need (honestly) to buy nail varnish remover..in my attempt to use everything up, I need to use up a couple of nail varnishes, but I have absolutely no remover in..that should be my only spend in Feb though
Can I also share my fabulous news today - my DD got our first choice primary school..it's such a relief..she's nearly 4 and sharing my love of lots of creams and lush...June wins: 2 x Robbie Williams tickets, iPad mini, £200 skatehut voucher
A huge thank you to all posters xx0 -
