Girls smelling of alcohol! Perfect! what more could you ask for.

I wonder if there are any cosmetics that make you smell like a good single malt!
Or in my dh's case, donner kebab and chips:rotfl::rotfl:
nope i can't do it either!!! i might manage a glass during work (sometimes 2) but don't drink any at home... mainly due the fact i drink hardly anything at home as DS is on the climbing and destroying stage and i don't fancy cleaning up water ever 10 minutes!!!

Oh im in the same boat sort of, ds2 and dd are always pulling things of surfaces and pulling things of them, dd especially is a great adventurer.

Having a horrible weekend so far.
Got a haircut yesterday and I'm really not happy. I have (had) long hair, past my boobies (can't think of another marker to describe it!) and she's taken FAR too much off :(
It's now sitting just under my collar bone and I am so upset.
OH was meant to be taking me out to a new Brasilian restaurant in Glasgow city centre for lunch this afternoon and I'm so pee'd off I just want to stay in and wallow :(
I suppose a positive is that I was in such a rush to get out of the salon after I'd expressed my anger at the stylist that I didn't succumb to the usual buying of £25 shampoo.
    Not happy :(

Ah babe, im so sorry, did they compensate you in any way, i know it will not undo the cut but it could help soften the blow iykwim. It would be a shame to miss out on the brasillian lunch though and im sure you will probably be a bit more relaxed after a couple of cahacas (brazillian alcoholic beverage i believe):D

    Nab

:rotfl::rotfl:, but seriously if you go to a salon , do choose a reputable one as ive seen some odd looking fake eyelashes on people who apparently have had them done professionally:eek:

Terrible waste of money :o but I did like them though! They are just one-off things for a special occasion! It's a little local salon and the girl who owns it has not long started up and is very attentive to detail and professional in everything she does as she's obviously keen to build up her client base. Her prices are quite competitive atm. I'm really happy to give her my business: go for eyebrow shape and tint, waxing, pedicures etc. It's not a 'posh' salon, but everything is 'nice' in there and her customer service is excellent. I hope she does well (and keeps her standards up!!), because it's not the easiest of times for business just now.

Oh no, what did she say when she knew you weren't happy?

The garnier deodorant I mentioned a while ago, I looked again in Tesco this morning, it was half price for the large one so €1.74 spent plus an Impulse bodyspray which is also new and on offer €1.50. It's the one "the Saturdays" are advertising in the navy can.

I have sprayed and love both of them but I didn't exactly need them. I can't seem to resist trying things that are new and in nice packaging. I don't have a Body Shop obsession and have never bought anything on QVC. Does anybody else have this obsession with new and advertised things?

OK - first things first. Did you tell the Salon that you were unhappy? Obviously they can't reattach the hair that has been cut off, but they could indeed have reduced the price of the cut, or offered you a voucher for a cheaper one next time when you go for a trim. If you didn't tell them yesterday, you need to go back or at the very least phone them. Secondly, the hair. Maybe now is the right time to try a colour on it to change the look a bit - or work out a new way of styling it? It WILL grow back, and I know right now that sounds like a platitude but it won't take so long as you think either. View it as an experiment you won't be repeating - it undoubtedly doesn't look as bad as you feel it does - and at least it will dry quicker when you wash it! It could also be a good time to give it loads of TLC - deep conditioners etc, as the hair you are left with it likely to be in better condition than that which was cut off so it's a good time to try to keep it that way as it grows on.

Sorry to hear you're having a bad weekend - but honestly, don't let it spoil your precious time off. If all else fails, stick a hat over it., I hope you went for your meal - and if you've not gone for lunch, why not let him treat you for dinner instead? :D

Sadly, it has been discontinued. Madness.

They were selling it off at £5 in the sales. Try eBay.

Not that I'm advocating spending money on toiletries that arn't needed but just to let anyone know who is interested that they have 35 brazil nut body butters on ebay of which 24 are the body shop ones.
    Did owe £9,951.96

Had a busy week, so not caught up on thread yet...

Bought 2 half-price aquarium handwashes, but I'm using my last one from the old stock at the moment, so that must be ok?

Finished a packet of floss and a packet of wipes. Very boring! Oh, and another packet of herbal tea is finished :rotfl:

I've come to confess my sins  and i was doing so well. Just after Christmas i was in Next with my Sister and there was a tester perfume without a label on it's own that smelt just like the pink soap & glory products. We didn't have time to find out what it was then and i've been thinking about it ever since. Today i went into Next clearance and i found it again, this time it had a label and there was a shelf full of the perfume. So i bought it, even though i didn't need it.:o It's nice though, it's called Diamonds, it's £6 and the bottle is oh so pretty!
