used up a charlie body spray:T only 7 more in the stash!!! 3 charlie (a red, a blue and a gold), a sanctuary, a body shop, a fenjal and a coty lavender.

When do you use these? I find they clash with my deoderant or perfume but they smell sooooo nice in magazine samples!

    I've been Money Tipped!
Morning! I've just caught up on the 10 pages since I was last here and I'm so impressed with your will power whoever said to leave nice things to last - I'm using nice things first which is how I end up with a stash of not so nice things (like 6 bottles of pantene!).

I've used up the dregs of a couple of packs of face wipes this week - how .... Cleaning the cats lampshade collar and feet! He loves it :) best use ever for them as these have been sitting aroun for more than 2years as I always seem to open anew pack when I need one.

Good to everyone for the weekend :)

    How sweet!

I never use those face wipes unless traveling. I find them ineffective and they don't make me feel properly clean. :o so next time I think of buying them I'm going to check prices for baby wipes too, and get whats cheapest: mainly I use them to freshen up, hands, back of neck as much as face...

I'd give her the benefit of the doubt, but wouldn't like to say really cos the experts always come up with scenarios / actions I wouldn't have thought about................ the peeps on the ebay board are always REALLY friendly and helpful to newbies and I always run there with my naive little questions to stop myself getting in a pickle!
Either you or her can open a claim with royal mail for missing mail/compensation. If I were you, I would email her first and apologise, but explain the item was packaged properly and you have proof of postage to use in a claim. I have sold loads of stuff on Ebay since before xmas and have had some nightmare buyers!! So don't worry, it just happens sometimes. You can either get a form for missing mail at the post office, or you may be able to do it online. They make ask for the packaging as evidence, but they will probably no doubt ask for your proof of postage. This needs to be the original, so make sure you keep a photocopy for yourself.
Then it's really in the hands of Royal Mail. They will decide if the buyer should get compensation. There's not much you can really do, except keep in touch with the buyer and help in the claim.

    Hope this helps

    Mand x

Thanks both of you. I emailed her straight away to apologise, I also told her that I would be making a claim to the Royal Mail and that I do have proof of postage.

Thanks for the tip re photocopying the POP and keeping a copy for me.

By the way, surely the person who posts the item gets the compensation? Then I can refund the buyer. Or does she get it directly?

    Thanks in advance.

I don't use face wipes except when travelling/at festivals either, they really are crap at cleansing my face and always leave it feeling a bit irritated! I wouldn't use them for everyday cleansing and have often used baby wipes in the past instead of facial wipes (they are probably exactly the same thing but with fancy packaging and 5x the price!). I only ever buy No7 wipes (and always with a skinnie) - £6.50 for a pack of wipes, OMG!!!!

p.s. lin.c, nice tidy stash you have there! I love the rose stuff, it is sooo pretty!

    Evening all :)

Found another hand cream which I forgot about, which brings my total to 7!

    However, today have used up:

Garnier Body Lotion - WIBA? Yes, it was really lovely. After using the majority of it on my body last year, kept the dregs of the bottle under my kitchen sink for use under rubber gloves when I wash up.

Dove Colour Care Hair Mask - WIBA? It made my hair very soft, but not sure if it helped preserve the colour any better. Got them on clearance so was a great buy nonetheless

Sanctuary Body Butter - WIBA? Most definitely :D Love the feel, smell, and general gorgeousness of Sanctuary products in general, and this certainly didn't let me down ;)

    And finally, my updated stash:

I love Black XS, it's my fave! Been wearing it for a few years now and can't do without it!

I finished up a Clinique body butter the comfort one, and I didn't like it. It made my skin feel gritty. Finished it off on my feet. They are so soft.

I have a thick pair of socks on now with the S&G Heel Genius cream on them, it smelt lovely this morning.

  • It's interesting to hear what face wipes people use and like. I don't use them at all anymore because I just can't find any I like. I used to LOVE some cheap ones I bought in the Asda years ago. Think they were called Dr Fisher or something like that and were in an orangey peachy coloured packet. They were brill and apart from cleaning my face really well they actually gave me really clear skin :T I was buying them for a few months then all of a sudden they just stopped selling them

LOL at cleaning the cats lampshade collar :rotfl:I hope poor kitty doesn't have to wear it for too long though, poor thing.

  • I accidentally found myself in the Perfume shop yesterday with the latest copy of Glamour Magazine in my hand and walked out with the mini Angel fragrance and shower gel... it was only £8.99 and I don't have that much perfume and I used to wear Angel, so it has brought back lots of memories (not all good, but I think the perfume is lovely regardless!!)...

I have a cold at the moment and my sense of smell is a bit strange, so Boots etc holds not too much attraction to me at the moment, I hope my sense of smell comes back soon though so I can enjoy my lovely products!!!

went out last night and won 3 E&C hand creams in a raffle!!!
started to use the no 7p&p hand cream that I bought to have a enough to qualify for goody bag and agree with other ladies ,it is sooooo greasy, have now taken it back upstairs and will use at bedtime and keep nicer ones in downstairs bathroom for during the day.
Can't believe how expensive no 7 is these days(I only buy when on offer)and i don't think it is any better than cheaper brands
