edit: sorry ilovecows I did not mean to cause this like i stated I was agreeing with another user about the ESA's truthfulness, I did not expect to get followed by another forum member who wanted to start a arguement. I have reported al the non relavent posts including my own now since Healy made his attack

If you did not care you would not reply. Ok we have both pointed out the mistakes so I think we can leave it there.

I was not aware of your "disabilities" so cannot see how I was picking on you. You say you are not after the sympathy vote but now you want me to tolerant and sympathetic, sorry I do not do hugs.

I have not followed you, I posted on the thread long before you appeared on it, have a check if you do not believe me. Also I am not looking for argument but just pointed out that you make mistakes too after you took the mickey out of my error. I cannot see any reason to report the posts as it was not an attack. Please feel free to report this one too if you feel it upsets your sensitive nature.

Makes you wonder were else they have lied in this whole "medical descion" or bent the truth to meet certain criteria.

I think I will write to the MP as well some of m actions after recieving my "failed" letter this morning might make for some enlightning reading.

The one thing I am worried about is that they said they sent a letter out 3 days ago as well concerning this and I am unsure how long I have to apeal as the letter I recieved ths morning did not even mention the possibility of apeal

The letter does not say not to give any more med certs unless condition has got worse.

It says they may still be needed if the claimant appeals.

You can search on this website to find out who your MP is and their contact details. They normally have an email address.

That is up to you really - I would give them until midweek to confirm receipt of your email (if you have not had an auto receipt). I would expect them to have written to the JCP by the end of the week, then you need to wait for the JCP to reply to them. This is likely to happen much more quickly than if it was you writing!

Some MP's offices will take the initiative and call the JCP rather than doing everything by letter. It would be worth asking if they can do this to speed things along.

Hi to all the wise and informed. I have been accused to talking b*****ks in the past. This has never been my intention.
1. Could someone please explain given the earlier comment on this thread, how to go about being paid ESA Assessment rate after submitting an appeal. Been told by ESA to claim JSA as ESA not due. If sucess at appeal they would deal with it then!
2. MP's - wrote to mine mid Jan (over a month ago) had standard reply - nothing since. How long should I wait for a reply?

The assessment phase rate should be paid automatically on appeal (Except non-return of ESA50 or failed to attend the medical disallowances).
