Wow, lots of you were grumpy monkeys yesterday. You poor things! Hope you all feel better today, and plenty of big squishy hugs available here if that helps at all!
I have a hospital appt today so have a long day ahead of me.
Tristan had an operation yesterday to heal a small hole in his lung where a broken rib had 'poked' it, and it was very successful which is good news. Michelle has head and spine injuries so her progress is very slow but it IS progress so we are hopeful.

    Hi all,

It's a bit manic here at the moment. I had a really bad migrane yesterday and was trying to prepare for my interview on the laptop but as i couldn't see properly i thought it would be better to have a little sleep to hopefully get rid of it first. That was about 8pm i've just woken up now. Now i'm wide awake, which is good i suppose but if i go back to bed again i'll never wake up. No flying done yesterday and i'm not sure any will be done today either there's a lot going on. I will keep up with the dalies though so it shouldn't get too bad.

  • Good morning everyone  DH is off today, so we have a list of jobs to do. DD is off for a review at college (she doesn't usually do Fridays) and she's off with her friends to the cinema this afternoon. She's then having other friends for suppper and a sleepover - guess who'll be cooking *confused smilie* :D

Congrats, hugs and commiserations to all I've missed in the last few days :A

    See you all later

    Morning ladies :)

I've got the valuer coming this morning in connection with transferring the mortgage into my sole name, so that is my "biggie" for today.....but once he has been and gone I will continue with my list - it is rare for me to get all 5 stars, but I am 4 up so far, so I will get that 5th this week come what may!

I also want to tackle the sock pile.......that awful job of pairing up and wondering where the heck all the odd ones go to. Although I am getting to the point where I will pair up what I can and throw the rest. I am sure we are not all walking around in bare feet, so we must have more pairs than we really need, even with the sock mountain's contents! And it will make a big space in the utility room in the process!

Have a good day everyone - positive thoughts for those that need x

    Morning all

Got up early, probably cause I didn't get disturbed in the night:D

Online banking done, bill paid, WM emptied to maiden

Dusty hope DS3 is on the mend - better this week than next

maralum I am a bit late to comment but would go with your intuition - and protect your own - just reading your post makes the hairs on the back of my neck bristle - put a stop to it all now - the recent case of 2 boys attacking another 2 and Jamie Bulger comes to my mind - sorry it would frighten me to death. I like your thinking re where to go for help/advice/assessment etc - a good place to start

Thanks Toots - at least he still enjoyed his birthday and like you say he should be better by next week, he is still asleep now.

I thought the same about the little boys getting hurt, I know it is rare but sadly can happen.

Diva sending continued healing vibes to Tris and Michelle, are they both conscious?

    Plan for today:

    [STRIKE]empty dw
    run dw on clean cycle
    hoover family room sofa[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]Clean bathroom
hoover stairs and all of upstairs
    wipe/dust our bedroom
    Corner shop visit
    Prep little party bags
    make jellies[/STRIKE]
    move box of books

Out at school quiz tonight with the bigger boys
The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair
  • Monday DONE! :j
And Tuesday not far behind. I was ill Wednesday and Thursday, but hopefully I'll catch up today.
