Well it looks very much like OH will be off to his dads party alone.. We cannot stay at his mothers and I have already had 3 panic attacks about being in the house alone overnight... and every time I think about it.. like just now I start crying..
I don't do so well on my own at times.. looks like this is one of them...
Don't suppose there is anyone nr Manchester/Stockport fancies 2 overnight guests.. tomorrow? Or even just 1.. he can stay where he likes so long as I'm not on my own.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -

maralum - I haven't read the whole thread but has anyone suggested talking to the school about your concerns? Not just your childs teacher...but also the head - who is usually the staff member responsible for safeguarding children (and believe me safeguarding is the 'IN' word at the moment!)
It is totally out of order for a 9 yearold to be locked out and left unattended.
I would also phone social services...but i would definitely talk to the person in charge of child protection at school..:jFlylady and proud of it:j0 -

Good morning my lovelies. The sun is shining, my new washing machine is on it's way (9kg drum, 1400 spin - ooooooh yeah, you know you love it when I talk dirty washing :rotfl:) and the first school run with the delinquent has been neatly side stepped.
The washing machine should be here soon, so my friend has taken DS to school for me. Sure enough, the lad arrived at our house at 8am, but I informed him that DS was going in with other people. I did hear the dreaded words "I'll see you after school", but DH will be home by then and I'll be at work, so the big bad husband will deal with it. Sometimes my husband comes in very handy - very tall, big beard and so many tattoos that he looks like a mural. In truth, he's a big softy, but people don't need to know that.
Well, my house looks pretty clean and I can't do any washing until the new model arrives, so I may have to undertake the hideous task of sorting the big storage cupboard  (insert spooky music and vampire laugh here...)
I really hope that all of those who were unhappy yesterday are having a better day too. Big thanks to everyone who offered advice with my little problem, I'm going to contact the charity today and make sure he's on some kind of watch list. They'll be able to give me more information about what step I should take next, they always have procedures for this kind of thing.
Sending hugs and happiness to all of you. x0 -
Morning All - sorry I havent been around much this week.
Mum is doing ok - she is making good progress and the docs are hoping she may be released on Monday or Tuesday of next week.
She has come off her drip (which was some sort of Clot-busting drug) and she is being shown how to inject herself in the stomach and they have taken her off the oxygen mask which she has been on permanently since she went into the hospital.
She is still very breathless but much better than she was. They are still not very happy about her heart and want to continue to check that over the weekend. They think that it may be due to the breathing difficulties, but want to see an improvement before she is discharged.
When she is allowed out of hospital she has to go back every day as an outpatient for two weeks. then they will make a decision at that time about when they think she may be allowed to fly home....
But on the whole she is ok.
Lots of love n hugs n vibes as required and Im so sorry I havent kept up with everyone this week....
Tea and chocolate for Pigpen as I have only read the last few posts..... You can come to Wales for the weekend if you dont want to be on your own....My spare room is nice and tidy, cobweb free, with clean bedding and clean windows thanks to you!! :rotfl: its yours if you want it.
Hopefully I will be able to catch up with the thread over the weekend xxxSometimes lurking, sometimes posting, but always flying

Pigpen, I think you're managing very well, keep your chin up chickie and good luck finding him somewhere to stay. Wish I could help, but I'm all the way down in Devon. Sending good vibes your way.
Cyclingyorkie, thanks for the advice, I think I'm definitely going to pursue it at the school as well. I know that they were in a rough area of the city before, so it's possible that no-one picked up on the unusual behaviour as it was common practice.0 -
Piggers...... if it wasnt for my very anti social dog,( she doesnt like strangers at all:() you would be more than welcome here:cool:
