    Won the quiz last might.

    Some absolutely FOUL questions

Where would you have seen a portait of Sir John Houblon?

1973 number one with a three word title which is the same as the only lyrics in the song?

(I got them right but took me ages. We write them down and have a think...)
I think I am a member of this team due to my great age:rotfl:

We won 4 corners. We also got the same highest total as another team BUT as we had claimed 4 corners on that ticket we couldn't also claim the high score:(
Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY

    Morning lovelies!

maralum difficult situation and I totally get ya cos I'm a big softie too, you're doing the right thing.
pigpen you can come to mine if you want, it's a building site but very clean and tidy, anyway I want you to sort my rabble out.

Work today, I've just tidied upstairs ready for a big clean later on, got the gas man coming to service my boiler tomorrow morning so won't be able to do upstairs, will have to empty the airing cupboard too, but that's no biggie.

WM on, don't you just hate those add it to the machine ball things, especially when you can't find them, another irritant I wont be adhering to anymore lol

oooh car was nice! :j it's as old as the hills but the body work is sound (but needs a good polish and back to black) and so is the engine and parts, no power steering though :rotfl: but there's a CD player which this one hasn't got  I can pay 'whenever' :T so picking it up in a couple of weeks, need to sort insurance, tax and scrapping arrangements for this car.

My new curtains came yesterday but the rail didn't so can't put them up, !!!!!!ations :D

DS1 still got a bad throat so another day at home.

Getting on quite well with the flying. Off for a shower now and then back to the list.

Pigpen - my female mog doesn't bother about catching things (she knows she gets fed twice a day). Male cats have had 2 birds and 4 young mice in the last week. One likes frogs but never had worms or bats (I'm petrified of bats)
The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair

    Morning all

I have a day off today :D, which I really need! I planned to stay in bed but was hungry and boiling so got up. Have had 15 minutes tidying up and wrapping MiL's birthday present and will get some breakfast now. Might go back to bed then!!

I have no major plans for the day, courier is coming to collect Craghoppers returns, but no idea what time, Tesco coming 2-4pm. I was meant to be meeting a friend for lunch but I don't really feel like it, plus can't go out unless courier has been. Might put her off or get her to come here instead. Have my friends who live nearby coming for dinner tonight which I'm looking forward to. DH has only met her once and never met him.

I'll be up for some HHCs later, will prob leave the hoovering for DH but bathroom & kitchen need a once over as does the bedroom.

Our wm is still broken, landlady has ordered a new one...good job we have the in laws up the road, has been 2 weeks now! I've got a teatowel which is covered in gravy from my disaster with the gravy the other night soaking though.

Must also add up the massive stack of Jan food reciepts...

    Morning all
Hope yesterday's grumps are feeling brighter today.

Had a good day - my usual craft group in afternoon plus first visit to a group I only recently found out about. Really nice and welcoming (I hate doing things / meeting people for the first time) So Thursdays are going to get busy and hopefully my fabric stash will go down.
Plus the snow has gone :T
