Care to send some inspiration this way... I appear to have a mild case of writers' block... or CBA :o

    How about
".. it was a dark and stormy night..."

    or

".. he was captain of the first volunteer fire brigade in the town which was set up after a small chimney fire at a house on xyz Hill eventually got out of control and destroyed the property because the fire tender from the town n miles away couldn't get there in time"

    :p

But I guess that's not what you're after....

Have surfaced for a moment whilst I put dinner in the oven - a total invention using rice, the remains of last night's veg which I casseroled in stock and some chicken pieces perched on top. It will be interesting to see how it turns out...

No too bad thanks PP, Flybaby is now three! Can you believe it? I'll post some pictures so that you can all see how she's growing up. To think, my labour was induced fabulously by the fact that I was flying all day long!

DS is pretty good too. He's in a new school and seems to like it. His scumbag father has pretty much lost interest in him, it's all just too much like hard work being a parent! That's not a bad thing though, our world is better for the lack of him.

I didn't realise that you'd been having such a bad year! Now I feel super guilty for not coming to check on you all sooner :o. I hope things are on the up and looking shiny for you now. x

I cannot believe how those 3 years have flown! I am so pleased things are looking up for DS.. is it coincidence his father is out of his life and he improves greatly?

Things appear to be looking up now thanks.. not speaking too soon though or it may just all come crashing again! And we don't expect you all to come checking up on everyone here.. you obviously have a life lol.

Nice to see you back though xx

erm ... nope... but I've been and done some shopping so maybe if I have supper and move down to sit in front of the fire (which I need to light) it might help.

Hex crowned me the Queen of flying the other week:eek: as she decided I'd been here longest in terms of duration, still fail to complete the lists on almost a weekly basis:)

Is it about the cat getting her name or me getting mine?

Right off to cricket now - there truly is no rest for the wicked.

    TUESDAY DONE!!

Pork chops cooked and eaten, kitten told off for licking the fat out of the pan (I should probably wash it up I suppose). Now I think I'll attempt a bit of time on the wii, have a bath and cuddle on the sofa with crochet and OH if I'm lucky!
