Tuesday ~ Living room/family room or other reception room!
Level One
Declutter and vacuum the floors!
Level Two
Vacuum under furniture you can safely move!
Dust and deweb.. make sure you do light fittings and bulbs! do picture rails and coving too if you possess it!
Clean the sofas.. vacuum under/between/backs cushions.. turn them over for even wear if possible.
Level Three
Wipe over all the fluffy electricals.. don't electrocute yourself please!!
Wipe and water the plants
Wipe grubby paintwork//QUOTE]
Not a very good effort I'm afraid. I've done a lot of decluttering and taken a lot of people's bits and bobs back upstairs - but not much else!
This evening I will clean the arms of the armchairs - the chairs are on their last legs but they look better for a clean and will dry overnight.
Oh and I watered the plants!August Shopping Challenge. 26/8. Budget £250 Spent £256.81.. £6.81 over. So £0.00 a day left.0 -

I'm making the most of using smilies tonight as I'm not going to be around much until we break up for half-term. It's highly likely that our school will have special visitors in the near future , maybe as early as next week.
Our head has just dished out 2 additional tasks to heads of department, in addition to the one we got yesterday. 2 are due by next Tuesday and the other one on the day we break up.
Together with developing my share of Year 8 schemes of work, assessment marking, GCSE preparation and the minor detail of weekly planning this means that flying won't be top of my list for bit.
If anyone fancies meeting up for a:coffee: or a  on Saturday 13 Feb (or on a different day during the holidays), please send me a pm. I'll log in occasionally to check. It would be great to meet some of you. There's a nice cafe in a garden centre locally, but I'd be happy to travel a reasonable distance. There seems to be a bit of a hub around Chesterfield.
Just had a look at the available smilies - there are plenty that could cause offence much more easily than rolleyes or confused. I miss those.
See you all soon

tc3061 awh honey I am sure you are not huge - not many of us like what we look like in photos - are you planning to lose weight? why not get a copy of the photo and stick it up on your fridge or notice board and it will remind you that you want to feel better about yourself. about the blinds - if you get a a good day - pop them in the bath with bio washing powder and let them soak for an hour then you will find the dust and grime washes off very easily then hang them over the washing line to dry - failing that just now you could try a cloth wrung out from a basin of hot water and stardrops and wipe them over as much as you can - might have to give it a few goes over a couple of weeks depending on how bad they are - maybe some of the others will have a better idea - micrfibre cloths are great - even just wet
Mumof2 why dont you go for it - it would fit in with what you are doing already...I still cant get the hang of how to put a line throught thow ..I press "-" button and "s" button ...and I highlight ...But it just deletes the line of text ...Does anyone know what I am doing wrong please ??
pigpen's method is the easiet
but if you want to use the strike key - you need to have either pressed 'quote' or 'reply or go advanced ( not the Quick reply box at the bottom)
1 - highlight what you want to strike through
2 - then look aboove the box you are working in and there is a list of symbols - the one on the far right is a capital S with a line through it - it looks like a square key - click on that
3 - thats all you do - the bit you want to strike through will say[strike ] at each end - when you actually post your list to the thread then it will show with the line through it.
hope that helps
good luck with the weigh=ins TC & TC
tooch -does miss Tooch get a butterfly for today

Happy Birthday Jinky, Dora and Mummyof5
:bdaycake::bdaycake::bdaycake: Have a great day.
Had a busy day again at work, on training again, its good but there's a lot of thinking involved so when I got home this evening I went straight to bed for a few hours, just rested, feel loads better.
I didn't have time to pick up my prescription and doubt I will tomorrow either so will get it thursday/friday.
DD1's little hamster Penny passed away today so we're going to bury her tomorrow, she's currently in a margarine tub outside.:o
Flying wise I haven't managed to do much, just helped DD2 find her homework, and a form I need to complete.
Piggers I'm very aware I haven't rang you yet **kicks myself up the bottom**, I haven't forgotton I just want to be able to arrange something properly when I do ring ya, so we can have a chatlet and a brew of choctasticness.:D
For all you worried about your diet, below is what was on offer in the cafe hubby and I went to yesterday before my appointment, if can eat it all in 20 minutes with no drink then you get it for free......
we declined the challenge...:rotfl:DFW Nerd 267. DEBT FREE 11.06.08

ETA TRIKER^^^^^^^^^^^^^^THAT IS JUST MEAN!!!!!!!!
Yes, sorry Toots, she was in bed with light off by 8 with minimal whining....although she did say that she had a bit of a bad belly(she went to a friends for tea and had 3 cherry bakewells after!!!!!.....no wonder, at home she would only be allowed 1 after dinner!!) and thanks for the good luck vibes with the weight loss....I need it!!!
I didn't get round to cleaning out the fire(basically a kid of tiled hole in the wall!!!), but will do it tomorrow....feeling motivated with the decluttering going on!!! Also need to clean the grill pan and have a plate and cup to wash too, but the hairy bikers are on so...........0 -

I think a few of us have been here seemingly forever and still achieve nothing!
ah but Dusty has done so consistantly for the longestI joined at about the same time (the first thread!) but have gone awol a few times along with other longtimers like ChaMichelle, Nicki and DeniseNZ. I have even got the whole house clean at least once in that time.
Maralum - good to see you back.
Dusty - I also have tons of unplanted stuff. I did manage to get some bare root roses heeled in between frosts so hopefully they will survive.
Need to shift Tiger off my knee, drag myself off the sofa and sort the WM contents into the TD and sort out pack lunches.
ETA Triker - I would happily eat toast until I was sick but that is beyond me ....'If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need' Marcus Tullius Cicero0 -
