Rosepink - :T for the Calvin and Hobbes books. One of my favourites.
I got the box set for DH on our first anniversary, when we were pretending we could afford to buy things. I love them too. I was thinking about our anniversary presents the other day, on our first anniversary we were deluding ourselves about what we could afford. I got him the box set, and he got me theatre tickets. For our second anniversary, I got him a mug, and he got me a keyring! What a contrast! :rotfl:

DUSTY! Yay, you're still here! I remember well how you got your name :rotfl:. It's been over three years since then and it still makes me giggle.

    Welcome Miaowww

Sarah I’m glad little one is a bit better and that your Dad’s op went well

This evening, I've tidied up paper for recycling, tidied bed and put away all the things that have been dumped on it throughout the day, tidied the table a bit, poured DH a bath, put all washing from kitchen floor IN the washing basket!

DH is impressed by how tidy the shelf is in the bathroom, it's nearly done. I mentioned that most of it seemed to be empty packets of cold and flu remedies and could he please use the bin/recycling now it's more accessible!

I still need to tidy sofa, and the LR floor a bit more, before the grown up come tomorrow. The bathroom and kitchen are fairly clean and tidy.

Oh I'm really happy cos I've sold an item on ebay, and it was one i was in two minds about relisting it this afternoon, and it's sold all ready! Yay! Only 14 more to go that are listed and a million more that are not listed yet!

Dusty - I also have tons of unplanted stuff. I did manage to get some bare root roses heeled in between frosts so hopefully they will survive.
I'm glad it's not just me, I was feeling terribly guilty because I've got lots of bulbs that were meant to planted in the autumn but didn't manage to do it. They should be ok to plant out next autumn shouldn't they? [insert shrug smiley here]

Hugs Valli - but what a legacy she's left you - the way to make jam. That is priceless and something the government can't tax you on! Make sure you remember her by passing those secrets on to others xx
