cheapest near you will be Shell @ Chiswell Green... it always is...

I use both ecover and an eco liquid (can't remember which) and they're fine. I have problems if I load it wrong or don't keep it clean. I suspect it is more tempermental that the older one as the new one uses a lot less water, where as the old one probably just blasted everything with plenty of water!

Thanks, that station is not near me but I drove past it twice last week:doh:, I have always thought that would be an expensive one being so close to the M25 and M1 junctions

I loved my old DW and it was so much better than this one even though it is the same make. They just don't make them like they used to. The low settings on this are so low they are only of use if you have had 24 people for tea and cake, anything heavier and they are useless. So they use less water but you need a hotter/longer wash, that is not eco friendly in my eyes, especially when you then end up washing up the stuff by hand in hot water:mad:

    Miss H
thanks, I will get some cleaner but it's not that long since I did it and I'll see if any DW stuff is on offer tomorrow, actually might have a tablet or two in the holiday bags.

School run now and then hoping to do a HHC in the kitchen at 16:00 so anybody who would like to join me then is the time;)

Note to self - top of page 4 - 10!

    Hi everyone - big wave!

Toots / Soapie, please may I have my kitchen star!!

Also, from my extras list I have:

    * [STRIKE]Thoroughly cleaned out the freezer[/STRIKE]
    * Clean out inside of car
    * Clean out shed
    * Wash 2 more coats and pack away (big winter ones)
    * Research either family holiday or divorce, not sure which :o
[STRIKE]* Take down hem on grey trousers, bit ankle flappy since putting on so much weight (which is now coming off yippee!)[/STRIKE]
    * File in-tray rubbish pulled out of Floordrobe
    * Weed out filing (how long do you keep pay-slips / bank statements etc.??)
    * Target to raise this month in extra's = £44 (Guide Census); £40 (Pocket Money for DD3 school trip (she has £60 saved already) by listing things on ebay.
    * Research or organise local car boot sale for the 14 bags of stuff now up in the loft!!

I've got the things ready to be photographed from ebay ... but am off to see the nurse shortly for the :eek: test - so off to take very lovely shower, as have been running around mad all day.

On top of that I've done:

    - All washing, tumbling, ironing
    - Kids bedding
    - Dishwasher twice (once had all the cooker; micro; sink etc. innards in it!)

... and that's it, but yet feels as though I've not sat down all day!!

Hope everyone's well and look forward to catching up later xxx

PS - I found a bl00dy pedometer - and have just looked at it, and it says I've done 18 steps today! But it's been beeping on and off, think I keep knocking the reset button by mistake!!!

For some reason it's cheap - I think because you have to come off, but as a result it attracts a lot of people who would otherwise go on a couple of junctions to the services. It's probably worth their while to keep the price down and the volume up.
I loved my old DW and it was so much better than this one even though it is the same make. They just don't make them like they used to. The low settings on this are so low they are only of use if you have had 24 people for tea and cake, anything heavier and they are useless. I've done some careful calculations on mine, and I now only use the really low/fast setting if as you say, it's glasses, cups, plates etc. However, my higher programs have an eco option which takes longer and it's to do with the way it dries it. Measuring the energy usage, it's still more efficient on the top end settings that the old one (admittedly it was 20-odd years old) was on it's most economical. It has taken some getting used to.

And you don't need to buy cleaner... soda crystals and vinegar work just fine... together with cleaning the filter every couple of days if you're using it alot. The arms on mine also open up for easy cleaning :D

Of course you can :Alots of vibes heading her way. I wondered where she'd got to...

Hope the test goes OK. Try to put the pedometer where you can't knock the button (you can tuck them into a hip pocket sometimes)

Suppose I'd better get some more work done. I'm off to the gym at 5 ish. Braving Pilates as well as a workout

OH came round this morning with his van and did the jump lead thing (how techie am I :A ) and it started eventually. Still needs a new fan belt but it will run ok for now. Snow is slowly starting to thaw though it's still horrendous, makes me wanna stay in.

School run done. DD has got changed, done her spelling and is now reading her book for 15 mins.
I have culled a hot spot in the DR and now having a cuppa while listening to DD (and checking the dictionary, every now and then!!!!).
We are then going to make the krispie cakes. I am hoping to go through DD’s drawers in the LR as it’s bin day tomorrow and recycling and I’m sure there is loads of paper that can go out.
Lost the post once so have rewritten it in Word xx
Something wrong with stupid internet…..keeps saying it’s not connected, when I can clearly see that it is!!!!
