Greenbee - when I read jjef's post I said out loud dyspepsia at work which startled Fred my colleague! But didn't know about yogurt thing or the breath test. Also didn't know from PenPen that you don't need MOT and it's number to do online car taxing. so everyday you learn something new! Hi all,
I've just skimmed the thread so sorry if i've missed anything.
I went back to bed after my 4.30 am post until Ds2 woke me up at 6.30, i feel ok now but that could be pure adrenaline.:D I feel like i've spent all day today driving. I've done the school run, nursery run, picked OH up from the garage, drove home, nursery run again, drove Oh back to the garage then drove to have my hair cut then home again. No flying to report but i'm about to have a quick tidy of downstairs and bath Ds2 and put him to bed. the interview went well i think, Ds1 answered the phone when i was picking up Ds2 and they said they'd phone back so i'm on tenderhooks now.:eek:0 -
My poor bottom is feeling neglected today.. I have rushed about all over the place..
School run, parent/tutor meetings, nail/eyebrow appointment and somehow I managed to be persuaded to let the girls make hair appointments.. think I was distracted.. then into town for bras for girls.. then for school run.. the OH's car for M.O.T. then Did dinner and got everyone changed and they have JUST been collected by KH... and I FINALLY get to sit on my derriere!
I am desperate for tea and ice cream.. and juice.. and maybe some rice krispies..
Flying wise.. OH loaded the DW.. I refilled the salt bit.. and.. I wiped the table before dinner.. and... nothing else.. oh.. I just remembered I need to bung my stinky coat in the WM.. it has a personal hygiene issue..
I need to sort my dress for tomorrow.. and my bag.. and.. take my mother the bras round she asked me to buy for her.. and I have a couple of catalogue returns to sort.. and find my shoes.. almost forgot..LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
Friday ~ Everything else!

[STRIKE]Strip some neglected sticky bedding[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Sort through a box of toys/junk[/STRIKE]
Organise a chest of drawers/wardrobe
Level Three
Tidy up coats, bags and shoes.. throw away broken umbrellas!
[STRIKE]Wash some grubby curtains[/STRIKE]
Wipe paintwork in a room you've not done this in for some time
Extras- Clean fronts and backs of 2 radiators
- Binbag dance
- Straighten a bookcase.. the books not the actual furniture!
- HHI
The curtains were yesterday but I'll take them! - they don't get washed often.
As well as the above I cleaned the bathroom and loo and am making plans to paint them (I haven't done any decorating for a while so I'll start small!).
Over the weekend I will sort some books for amazon/charity shop and go through the kids clothes.
I'm really enjoying my flyladying - it's wonderful to be getting properly sorted rather than spending all my time shunting round carp!
Sorry I can't keep up with the thread - I will try - but thanks everybody for the motivation!August Shopping Challenge. 26/8. Budget £250 Spent £256.81.. £6.81 over. So £0.00 a day left.0 -

Just finished what I needed to get done today (well, not everything, but at least I got one thing out of the way!), so I'm packing up and leaving the office. I'm not looking foward to spending the whole of next week herebut I suspect I'll get used to it!

hooray!!!!!
Typed a really long post earlier and lost it through pressing "backspace". I'd forgotten how blo**dy annoying that is and if I'm honest I've sulked about it for the rest of the day about it and refused to retype it!:rotfl:
general run of it was that Ive done the kitchen swept the hallway and up the stairs and wiped the banisters with my new microfibre cloths.
I have to admit to being a bit cynical about these clothes. I mean, just a damp cloth and everythings clean? yeah, right! But actually... I'm quite impressed!! I think I'm converted!!!
Now... who'd like a drink while I'm pouring mine?
