  • Just came in to wish everyone a very happy weekend. Plan to declutter some wine tonight in front of the fire.

    Hugs to all in need.

  • I'm so frustrated. We need to tax the car and I can't find the documents we need. I've looked everywhere. I beginning to wonder if we even have the MOT cert as it was done by the previous owner. DH thinks we do but it must be invisible.

If you pay the tax online, they do an automatic check to see if your vehicle has a valid MOT, so you don;t physically need it :T

That doesn;t help you know when it needs renewing though, but AFAIK, any MOT tester can check the system for you and give you a date.

triker - I don't use my magimix half as much as dusty does at the moment, but I think if i am lucky enough to have a family then I will use it a lot more. Making the cake was dead easy so I'd definitely make more then! Mine sits on the worktop (and I hate things being out on the worktop).

Have whipped up a nigella choc mousse (not really mousse but that's what she calls it!) so we now have 2 choc puds. Shopping is all away, I'm doing enchiladas and wedges tonight so nice and easy. DH is picking up some icing sugar for the cake icing on the way home.

I'm really mad as the courier still hasn't come, so I stayed in all day for nothing. DH will be furious as it means the refund won't come before my cc bill cut off date.

My new CC turned up today (lost it last week so had to cancel it). Still not done proper amount of flying, though I did wipe the worktops and clean out the fridge. must at least clean the bathroom before friends come! DH will hoover through which will make the place look fine.

Thanks Rach, been looking at cheap alternatives like Argos cookworks, I'd really like something for shredding and slicing more than anything. I have a kenwood Patissier and a phillips chopper and blender.

Maybe I should just get a bigger knife!:rotfl:

    fgfgfgfgfgfgfgfgfg....laptop upturned and tapped fgfgfgfgfgfgfgfgfgfgfg

I have also hoovered, remade DD's bed with clean sheets and tidied the LR and kitchen.

Popped to the garage after the school run and on the way back, by the bustop, at the end of our road, there were a ouple of ambulances and police cars plus a croed of people. As I turned into our street I noticed a young lad on a strether with a blanket over him. As I got out of the car by my house a youngster informed me that the boy had been hit by a car, not sure who he was or how it happened, So I am hoping and praying that he is ok xx

2nd lot of washing just finishe so will pop another load on with DD;s shool coat(white was probably not my best idea....but it is a ski coat so nice and warm...and from matalan so cheap too

The first time I went to mr sandys house (he shared with 3 other blokes) all the furniture in the sitting room was pushed to the edges and there was a squash court marked out on the carpet with masking tape and the TV remote was araldited to the side of the television:rotfl:

I have been following this thread but am struggling to do it all. Maybe I am just lazy:o
I struggle too, Sandy. My trouble is I'm a perfectionist, and if I don't do it ALL I feel I've failed *insert Rolleyes*, but I think the idea is you start with just the Level 1 tasks, and if you get just those done, pat yourself on the back, and if you can manage more, great, if not, it's OK.:o
