Look, if you prefer a Ford Focus repmobile to a Toyota Auris, that is fine by me, I prefer the Toyota.
There is no " best car ".. neither of them is a bad car.I've no issue with that - You were the one pulled me on my choice initially.

ive had a focus for 6 years this year from new, its had a few things go wrong in that time but nothing expensive and would quite happily buy another if thats what i need.
the auris looks ok and im sure its a nice car but its a bit more expensive than the focus, or well it used to be when newly launched. i get a discount on fords so that kind of helps my decision. and the fact parts are readily availabe and cheap when/if required....work permit granted!0 -
