Gosh it's quiet on here today!
Made pizza using BM to make dough. Ruddy kids won't eat the pizza  I've had it and it's lovely. Guess it's back to using English muffins for them and I'll scoff my own lovely pizza all to myself (H won't eat it as he doesn't like cheese).
Made some twinks with added peanut butter.......very nice they are too
Kids both had a late nap due to early start so will be a late finish tonight too.

My mind seems to be unable to retain all the information it reads on the thread at the moment - think I might have to start writing things down!:rotfl:
Have been on the puter most of the day looking at holidays. My two DD's have decided that we should have a girlie holiday and as Hubbie doesn't mind (he gets much less holiday from work than me) who I am to disagree. Think this all revolves round DD1 and her fiancee splitting up but it will be nice for us anyway. Will not be until beginning of May so gives me a chance to get some weight off before we go.
Anyway have a nice evening all

I do realise this is a bit silly (and probably very sad:rotfl:) but I continue to be amazed at how lovely homemade soup is!
Cooked a gammon in the slow cooker today and started it off with a little bit of veg stock and celery and added red lentils. Took the gammon out and blended the rest...really tasty.
Also had my first bash at ribs in the the slow cooker today. Butcher dipped them in chinese style sauce and cut them up and all I can say is :T.
We had to run DH's eldest back to her mums and when we came back the kids opened the door and all the lovely smells came wafting out into the street....:D

I agree with Redruby, its very good although a bit uncomfortable briefly having it put in but then you can forget it for 5 years! unfortunately I had mine out for treatment after about 6 months but hopefully it'll be longer this time!:)Do what you love :happyhear0 -
A lovely afternoon with my friend, we travelled down to deliver the machine, the Bramble Patch is a lovely shop and we had a real good scrounge round. Cotton Reel bought a lovely kit to make a quilt for the bottom of her bed. I was very taken with a lovely cushion, there was a kit but we ended up buying the fabric, I didn't buy it honest, I was treated.
We had a late lunch of soup and cheese on toast, and Cotton Reel gave me two bags; one from her and one from Bluebell, some lovely things inside. fabric hearts, pot porri, slippers, a tiny mouse (I hope its the only one in the house) a jar of fabric strawberries, a srawberry pin cushion, and a jar of chutney.
I will miss my quilty friend, I have known her for 9 years, she has often been an inspiration to me and has put me straight and several times rescued things that could easily have gone out the window.........
I cooked OH some supper. I have just had a beef sarnie, I was rather full when I got home, didn't want any supper.
Tonight and tomorrow is relax a vous.......lunch out......I have cleaned out the oven so its sparkling, will not be using it again, just the hob which I will clean after we have cleared the kitchen.

This is my current problem. Have always had heavy periods but since having DD it's ridiculous and I have asked Doc to test me to see if I am anaemic.I agree with Redruby, its very good although a bit uncomfortable briefly having it put in but then you can forget it for 5 years! unfortunately I had mine out for treatment after about 6 months but hopefully it'll be longer this time!:)
I mentioned to the Dr that I was a bit put off by a few horror stories with it being fitted but she said I was talking to the wrong people LOL! I guess nothing can be as bad as labour and I got through that at any rate!I have a gift for enraging people, but if I ever bore you it'll be with a knifeLouise Brooks

Good Evening everyone,
Just a quickie from me, I'm lying low today with a huge hangover, my quick drink last night quickly became a whole night out! I was worse for wear, let me just say, and have been rather poorly today. When will I learn that I am not getting any younger? I did have a great night, though, and don't think I did anything too embaressing!
OH and the boys went to see Avatar today, and I was too ill to tag along, so I suppose I saved a few quid there! Plan for tomorrow is to blitz the house.
Congrats to Hester's hubby, great news at last! Hope his leg gets better soon.
Good to hear from you lowesy, take good care of yourselves.
Hugs to everyone else in ths doldrums, or poorly.
Night night.

Hi
What a day!! Managed to get my weekly fruit and veg shop done for a fraction of the supermarket cost at the local greengrocer and butcher - got some yummy steaks as well for midweek. Can't wait!
But the biggest achievement of the day for me (aside of clearing out the junk from DD bedroom ) was by far cleaning out my oven, old styleeeeee!!!! :T:T:T Used the ammonia and water method, have just finished it now and it looks BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!!!!
Cranky: DD went through a phase of this from about 5-7 yrs, fortunately it got a little better with time. I'd strongly recommend matchsticks and caffeine!! :cool:The 2012 mantra - "A place for everything, and everything in it's place"0 -
Just making it before it is to-morrow!
Had a lie in this morning, did some washing, cooked dinner...we love roast veggies but to-day I burnt most of them....felt very guilty but ate them anyway.DS3 ans DD3 both came to visit, Kerry had a great time with her Uncle Mossie, DD's mad dog. Collected my cats from DD4, had a natter and have just found time now to come on here.
Diva....hugs
Lowesy....hugs to you and OH.
Hugs to those whose children get them up at all hours....mine used to wake up very early too but I got a bit of extra time by investing in a tiny jug each, putting some milk in and leaving them some cereal to get for themselves....but then there was only 10months between my first two so I guess they always had company.
Very cold here to-day, there was a light shower of snow yesterday afternoon and it is still on the deck. Hate the thoughts of checking the oil but hopefully it is going down here too(?)
N9eav...how could you not like the Fiat 500? I have never had a Fiat but drive one in Sardinia and love it. Drove a Hyundai in Australia and liked it too, allegedly the 'i' range are very good cars. Can anyone tell that I am kinda regretting my resolution to drive my eight year old car until it dies?? No money is a good way of keeping the resolution I think.
Csarina...in case I dont 'speak' to you again before you move, have a good journey, happy landings and everything you hope for from the move.
I really should go to bed....night all, sleep well
