Morning all,
Just a quick post to say that I had my erpc on Thursday. DH was allowed to stay with me the whole time (apart from in theatre of course), and the registrar popped in to see him whilst I was in recovery to let him know that the procedure went really well.
Physically I'm ok, head is still a mess - DH is a rock. Thanks to all who have sent me PM's - if I haven't already replied to say how grateful I am, please be assured that I am.
Hugs to those in need xxSometimes that mountain you've been climbing is just a grain of sand,

Diva Is okay and sends her love. She is still sorting through things in her mind but is alright. Thought I'd let everyone know.
Good to hear, SunnyGirl.
Thinking of you, MSD :kisses3:
I have some stuff to do this afternoon, and hopefully will be able to get into the kitchen to do some baking
Dinner tonight is gammon, which I have in the SC now, and I'm going to make some rolls to go with it, along with salad.
I'm under instruction from the hospital to avoid drinking tea after 7pm, which I'm finding really difficult  I've got herbal teas and fruit teas to drink, but I love a cuppaAnyway, two nights on and I've managed, but have this weird headachey feeling. Not sure if it's the tea or the increase in meds, but it makes me feel very sluggish - my excuse to do even less
Hope everyone is having a good day, and can keep warm, as it feels very bitter outside. There is something delicious about writing the first words of a story. You never quite know where they'll take you - Beatrix Potter0 -

Pipkin - could your headache be due to the lack of caffiene in the tea if you know what I mean. Hope you feel better soon.
Well better get on. Need to go to market to see if any salmon left, usually buy a full salmon then portion into freezer. Need to get a few veg and milk.
Hugs to anyone who needs one. Take Care.

It probably is, topsyturphy.
I drink quite a bit of tea, so cutting down is likely to have an affect, but at the same time, my medication has been changed, so it's one or the other.
I've read about people having headaches though from cutting down on the caffeine, so the likelihood is that it's the tea.
It seems such a harmless drink though! There is something delicious about writing the first words of a story. You never quite know where they'll take you - Beatrix Potter0 -
hi pipkin
I was advised to stop drinking tea for medical reasons, i suffered from headaches to start with too. i drink redbush tea and everything is fine. it is naturally caffenine free., so it might be worth trying.

I`m toying with the idea of bringing some small pots of compost inside and starting off some pepper plants as house plants but not sure that i will be doing the right thing or not - still just a couple as a trial can`t hurt
SD
I've got three chilli plant seeds that have come up already and I have some lettuce in old tin cans along the kitchen windowsill :rotfl:I got impatient when it looked like my chilli seed wasn't going to germinate so I shoved in two more seeds, all of which have come up! I've got one cherry tomato seed in as well and I'm going to stop there - I won't have room to keep them all as house plants until it's warm enough to leave them outside.0 -

Evening all,
Very late one for me, we have been laying the laminate and putting new skirting in the conservatory, well it was mostly OH, I helped where I could, and provided hot drinks and food, he has worked so hard, and I must say it looks beautiful, have taken some before and after photos to put on my FB, sometimes its really handy having a carpenter / builder OH :T
My lovely mum made dinner for us, as she knew we would be shattered, we had hm steak and kidney pie, mash carrots peas and thick lovely gravy, I dont like kidney, so OH had mine.
Going to have a rest now, and a glass or two later
Taplady hope you DH is ok, give him a gentle hug from me xx

Cranky, hope you manage to get a rest xx
Have good evenings all.
