Xbox 360 Flashing To Play Back Up Games???

Im wondering if anyone can help me flash my xbox 360 so I can play copied back up games?I recently had the RROD problem and as it was out of warranty I had to fix it myself so thought I might aswell flash it too since Ive had it open an been poking around in it.Loads of info on the web but a lot of conflicting advice.Any help would be appreciated.

    Im not bothered about xbox live,dont really play it much online anyway.

    Oh and its a samsung drive if I remember rightly

    Thats fair enough but its LEGAL to flash an xbox360 drive and play YOUR OWN BACKUP GAMES!It becomes illegal if you play illegally copied games.Most gamers will have had damaged and unplayable games in the past.Flashing allows you to keep your originals in a safe place away from meddling kids and drunk mates!

    You wont find many people on here willing to discuss that, but maybe if you were to CLICK HERE then you would find the answer to your question.

    Where did you get this info?Everything Ive read says its legal
