lloyds tsb credit card is it instant decision?

I applied on Tuesday - got a reference number but have not heard anything yet. I hold a current account with Lloyd's.

Still not had a credit check done by them (was not a pre approved offer, so assume they will do one).

think id advise to have an account a while longer, think ill wait to see if one pops up in approvals next time,

if you dont get instant decision then its usually a no

how can you get an instant decision (as in my case) when 4 days later, they still have not credit checked you?
