  • You asked for advice, didn't like what you heard from people who pointed out the rules of ebay to you, and are now being rude towards people who dared to reply to your post?
Whether an auction has 1 day, 3 days or 10 days it's your responsability to check the listing over before submitting it.
If you don't want people to question what you've done and how you've done it then don't break ebays rules and expect people here to tell you it's ok to do so.

Omy GOD! What the hell, It was all over with agesssss ago, i asked for advice, recieved it of some nice people, did it and said thank you, END OF. Im only being rude to people who have been rude in the first place getting all self righteous. Dont think ill bother posting again, its a waste of time, majority of people on here seem to just come on to have a go and try and make themselves feel better by getting a bit of anger out. DO you work for ebay as well?
Also whoever said expect negative feedback, how can that possibly happen! My boyfriends account was selling item A, A mistake was made with the postage, so me his Girlfriend went on her account and assurred she won the item, we then cancelled it. Doubt it is crime of the century somehow. Oh any by the way soolin, i have been selling on ebay for years and always obey the rules thank you, never had any problems, why dont you get off your high horse and stop shouting the ebay rule book at anyone who asks a simple question.
    End of.

'shilled in error' - my friend was selling an item her boyfriend bought her as a gift (she hated it), he found it on ebay and out bid the others & bought it for her! (thinking she'd liked it so much she'd love a spare) She couldn't believe her eyes when she saw the winning bidder :rotfl:

Whether you doubt it or not, it was against the rules. TBH I would probably have done the same in your situation, we all make mistakes and sometimes Ebay doesn't allow us to correct them in time. However, the rules are the rules. If you come on here asking what the rules are and what you should do, don't shout down those that tell you.

I am a professional ebay seller. I work hard at my job, I love my job, if you think it's silly that's your problem not mine. :p
