The only real reason for Sky is the Sports Channel package - virtually everything else is available some other way.

Having the sports channels is the one and only reason we have Sky.

Must say, that today a Sky engineer came out because our HD box was stuck on standby, when i rang Sky on Thursday i asked 'any chance of a free service call' He was away one minute, Free service call booked, Sky man has just been, changed the box, very professional and I didnt have £65 to fork out.
(Husband is relieved, he can now watch his precious Newcastle playing this afternoon)
make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.

VM have been offering V+ HD as standard for about a year now.

Since the Freeview retune we are unable to get freeview at all now as they have made the signal weaker in our area. We have been told that this will get rectified in May when the full digital switchover happens. So Sky has gained a lot of customers around here recently
