  • A NSD today but with all this talk of Loo Rolls I've checked our supply and we only have 2 left. Does anyone know of any special offers on at the moment? I usally buy Charmin when it's on offer in Lidl but hasn't been on offer for ages.

Dinner tonight is Chicken soup made from the leftover stock from Slow Cooker yesterday and then HM Macaroni cheese and a large Salad Bowl.

    Have a good evening everyone.:D

hi all, just a little spend for me today £7.66. £7.71 left of my budget so that should see us through next week as hopefully won't need too much, just milk and bread.

I'm determined to stay in budget this month as I went over last month !

  • I am now officially overbudget. £225.06 for this month so far and that's with the odd bit of creative accounting (i.e. not including the weighing scales to replace my broken ones in the grocery budget which is what I would normally do). We do have plenty food though but I doubt we will get to the end of the month without spending anything else.

  • Went to Mr S tonight and spent £24.42. We didnt really need anything either but I still don't think we'll go over budget. About £13 of that wasn't on groceries or toiletries but I'm still going to include it in with the total.

Made a lasagne last night and had loads of the bolognese mix left over so had that with baked potatos for tea tonight. So managed to stretch the pack of mince to 5 meals which I was really pleased with myself about as sometimes it only does 2 meals :o Probably could have gone to 6 meals but the BF had a second helping of lasagne last night. Got a coupon for a free loaf of bread a few weeks ago which I used today as well so had some nice crusty bread with tea so it worked out to be a very cheap meal!
Going to get to grips with food shopping again, starting February!

Got married to my lovely hubby on 12/11/2011 :D
