Casperthe friendlyghost - thanks for that info on g/free food. I've never seen g/f oats before. I'll have to have a look in my Mr S as DS really misses having flapjacks. I get him Glutafin Select Fresh Fibre bread but someone was telling me the other day that that Genius bread is lovely but I'm not sure if it is available on prescription yet.
Heads up, don't know if already mentioned but Mr T has genius bread on offer at £1.99 per loaf until 20 feb

A very special welcome to Abigail

O a much more boring day, the only spend today was 2 can of deicer for the cars. Forgot my lunch today but OH was passing and he brought it in to work for me (well I suppose unemployment has a couple of advantages)
He had his signing on interview today and I think he's getting a bit down. One of the agencies has just rang, so at least they are thinking about him.

Had frajitas for dinner and I think we will chill in front of the TV for a bit.

Have just updated signature but will be back tomorrow after main shop of the week. Bought a bag of salad leaves yesterday - a mix of rocket , watercress and spinach. These are not cheap I know (£1.49) and we only used half with our cold chicken and jackets yesterday, so I decided to use up the rest to make soup. I chucked in half an onion, a large potato and one carrot as well. It was very tasty - enough for both our lunches today and bit left for my tea at work tomorrow.

Tonight we're having chicken and leek lasagne - it smells delish!

    Catch up tomorrow.

£6.04 spent in Tesco on my way home. Needed some stock cubes, cheese and yogurt for a recipe. Also got a bag of apples and a couple of other bits.

I'm going to go through my meal plan tonight and make sure I do have everything I need for them and if not, make a small list. I will need milk tomorrow as didn't realise how low I was, but only buy 1/2pt so that won't be a big spend.

NSD today, but I have ordered tea bags and pasta bulk boxes. After doing this for two years you would think I could get it right.

I don't need pasta, it is rice I have run out of!! That means my budget will definitely go over this month. Grr!
