    Morning all

Just to update the spends, had MrT delivery yesterday and spent more than I wanted to but had some good offers on things I needed seemed sensible to spend a bit more to save later. Came in £40 over budget but won't declare just yet as still need to get through next week (but shouldn't need anything else). PLEASE CAN YOU SIGN ME UP FOR £350 BUDGET FOR MARCH will declare for Feb next week. Have been doing lots of baking/cooking and some of budget has been used stocking up on bits for this. Am really enjoying my cooking again though, have been having half a day every week for the last 4 weeks, it's just so satisfying to see it all cooling on trays and knowing what's in what the family are eating.

Take care everyone, hugs to those that need them, have a good weekend.

Declaring £208.52 for February and this includes slightly mad stocking up of moisturizer (12 jars, £60, half price) which will last me all year!!

Kindly put me down for , , ,, , , £230 for March which is a reduction but still generous I think!

Well I'm declaring today for Feb, £132.04. £7.04 over budget, but did have a mad fling in Costco at the beginning of the month which won't happen again for a while.

Lokking forward to March as I feel a bit more organised. The freezer is not as full as it was but there is still plenty in there. Need to batch cook some basic tomato sauce as all the stuff I have in the freezer is either chill or bolog.

Have a ham hock in the slow cooker for meat and soup so am making a good start. Need to make some biscuits or cakes to have for pack up to save buying some so that is a job for later today.

New month starts tomorrow and will be going to sainsbugs with DD2 as I have a coupon for £4 off a £20 spend, won't ed to buy much as she will use most of it.

Thanks for all the help as encouragement, I have now been on the grocery challenge for exactly 2 years and know I would never be able to stick to it without the back up.
  • Added another £4.80 for a few bits I bought and £30 as hubby popped for bread and milk a couple of times, well within budget this month but freezer and cupboards are getting emptier so not sure i'll manage next month, but i'll stick to the same £175 for March please

  • Hi can i join in for march please? i used to follow the challenge but fell off the wagon for a wile and have gone back to my old ways so i guess its time for a kick up the backside and to get back on track. please add me for £450. for march this is from looking at old receipts and realising i actually spend more like 500. 3 kidsOH and myself, OH insists on a few lucturies like coca cola (im working on that one) and DD2 is on a special diet (gsd)
  • Declaring at £231.56 thats my first time over budget (by £21.56) but I'm still going to aim for £210 in March please Mrs M.
