  • Grrrr just lost a post cos the lappy died on me  working again now though, phew!

Dinner was lovely tonight, got my timings spot on, and the roast spuds were amazing :D. I did make enough for us 3 and one extra to have on Monday when I'm back from London, but my hollowed legged brother ate it all!! :rotfl:

I'm all packed for London. I've gone for the overnight bag cos for once I'm not actually taking that much and the suitcase was half empty! I'm going to leave it at the left luggage on Sunday so I won't be lugging it round anyways. I may change my mind in the morning though!

    Well done Mr H-H!!

Thanks to the Yorkshire contingents who keep me posted on how carp the weather is back home. After two carp days normal service has been resumed. Kitchen alterations started today new corner wall cupboard up, and b/bar-larder unit demolished. Popping down to Benidorm (1.5 hrs away) tomorow to meet up with a kind neighbour who looks after ours while we are away, who is on holiday for a week. Continuing kitchen on Monday.

Looking forward to the Murray-Federer match on Sunday.

    Good evening

I have had a busy month....January is a nightmare in the world of accountancy! So in celebration of it being the end of my working January I seem to have polished off a bottle and a half of red wime.....
I'm hungry...too tight to order a take-away too b0lloxed too cook! hey-ho I'm sure I have enough blubber to survive many winters!

I got most of my MS jobs done today as my boss let me finish early with working my lunches this week and he paid for lunch today :T So just 3 little ish jobs to do tomorrow and a pizza job on sunday...can't really call that one work!

I feel the need for a list coming on.....I'm flying to mums next Thursday( :j) and need to make sure everything I need is packed, a friend is threatening to drive up from Pontefract to get a little inebriated ( :D ) on the friday and we're out for a meal on the saturday (parents siblings and other halves...) providing DD in in good form that should be ok.

I have that 'they haven't seen me for 5 months and ive put weight on' thing going on at the minute but after another wine it'll will sound more like 'F*** 'em I'm Gawjuss!!' :o

    Have a good one xx

  • Hello all

Sorry not been posting. Feel really tired. Baby is not sleeping well.
Am keeping up with the housework though.

Well done to your DH Hester! :D

A quick Q about white vinegar...I can only get sarsons & it;s 99p. What happened to the shops own brands? Where can I get it cheaper? I go through quite a bit especially as we are in such a hardwater area.

Off to do bottles & go to bed.

    (((hugs))) to anyone who wants/needs

Get better soon Taplord, Mr Sistercas and Sandy
Watch out for Aussie winging her way round your parts Nessie. :D
Glad your trip was a success Marie. x
I wish I could come over and let you have a nap Cranky. Hope you catch up on sleep soon. xxx

It was sooooo lovely to have Aussielass here yesterday. :j:j:j She and Aussielad are a pair of sweethearts and both my children and the dog fell in love with them. :D They both deserve to have a fantastic trip. xxx

There was little in the way of OS here yesterday other than feeding the Aussies. Luckily they didn't eat me out of house and home so tea last night was leftover soup and HM bread as well as scones with jam and cream
Today was spent in the office catching up on some accounts. The girlies have gone away for the weekend so OH and I will be catching up on some diy jobs I will mostly be supervising ). We have some snow here though so we may be confined to indoors.

    Sleep well everyone. xxx
