I always take my own bags to the supermarket and am trying to drive less and walk more
  • I am starting to walk to and from work at least once a week, and using an energy meter to keep a check on the elctricity we are using.
  • We are going to downsize our home this year and hope to spend some of the cash difference on greening our new one. Went to the Geffrye museum in Shoreditch yesterday and saw some useful gadgets. Best was a Morphy Richards toaster with lid, that uses 35% :T less electricity.

  • Im going to combine my car journeys to save fuel and emissions
  • This year I'm going to try to use my car as little as possible and walk or use public transport instead.
  • I'm gonna be less materialistic, buy less stuff and produce less waste. The way I see it the evidence of my unsustainable lifestyle appears in my bin, if my bin is empty it will suggest a lower impact on the earth.
