That's the worst thing about this thread, isn't it? Everything sounds so tasty!

Talking of which, can I ask for the recipe for your butternut squash and polenta bake, please? I'm very partial to both of those and a recipe with both sounds ideal to me!

    Thank you!
I was just thinking of asking for this recipe when I saw you had beat me to it :T It sounds very tasty.

All my planned recipes are from one of my low fat recipe books. They are in no particular order and if OH is cooking any night, he is permitted to cook something else (otherwise he gets p*ssed off with me). I have asked for low fat, but he's not great at that. The basic idea is 3 meat, 2 fish, 2 vegetarian. On meat nights, there is a non-meat option for pescetarian DD and doesn't-like-chewy-stuff DS.

    1. Seabass baked with a crumb topping, new potatoes, sweetcorn & salad
    2. Chilli con carne made with braising steak, rice, tortillas (baked beans for the children)
    3. Pork fillet in sweet & sour sauce, veg stirfry with tofu, noodles
    4. Kedgeree made with undyed smoked haddock, poached egg
    5. Felafel, tabbouleh, pita bread
    6. Vegetable and/or bean quiche, peas, potatoes
    7. HM burgers (some meat, some veg), oven chips, hm coleslaw

Gosh it's late - definitely going to bed after this post! I stuck to my meal plan mostly last week, except for 1 night when we got a Chinese as I was having problems with my oven and it was getting a bit late!

    Anyway, this week:

Mon - Pork in Creamy Mustard Sauce & Rice or Potatoes
    Tue - Sausage & Mash
Wed - Gammon Steak, Pineapple & Chips
Thu - Thai Green Chicken Curry
Fri - Chicken/Steak Fajitas (OH has friends staying for the weekend so think this will go down well with "the boys")
Sat - Mince & Potatoes (leftovers for me as OH will be out with said friends)
    Sun - Lamb Rogan Josh

Lunches are salads (prawn, gammon, tuna) and soup (carrot & coriander and minestrone I think).

    Have a lovely week everyone!
